   Cassidy was our waitress and she was amazing. She wished us happy anniversary which I appreciated. The food was delicious and the service was fast! I would recommend eating here and staying at the castle to anyone.

   In general everything was great. The service was slow. I understand it was Mother's Day but it was over an hour and a half before we received our entrees. Our server was great and handled this well. The schnitzel was overcooked and hart to cut, even with a steak knife. Overall 9/10

    The food was amazing. The best part was the service. Our waiter was tentative and was very nice. This has to be one of the best restaurants with top notch service in the Mid Ohio area.

    Beautiful surroundings. Good food. Friendly staff. Couldn't sit on the deck, due to weather. Inside is quite noisy and 'clang-y'. But, I love this place and I will keep returning.

    Sat down 6:30,waitress was friendly and appetizers were very good,but waited over an hour and half for our dinner and my $52 steak was over cooked an tough.Dissapointing for our anniversary dinner.Won't be back.

    This is our second time attending a holiday brunch buffet here. The first time, there weren't many desserts left. This time, we had to wait 20 minutes for mashed potatoes and about 15 minutes for macaroni and cheese. The food was delicious, but the buffet wasn't kept stocked.

    Not what you would expect for a $35 p/p Easter brunch. I was expecting a pub restaurant environment in a castle. What we had was a average buffet, with no holiday desserts in what looked like a conference room you could find in any hotel. Our waitress was very nice and staff were polite. The grounds are nice but do not expect a pub or anything that resembles a restaurant.

    The food quality was quite poor. The service was solid but couldn’t overcome super fishy salmon and a pretty rough schnitzel. They should probably just go with burgers and sandwiches because “fine dining” this is certainly not.

    Probably a little higher than 3 but not 4 stars. We booked via OpenTable for a 2pm seating. If you’re not familiar with the area, it’s in the middle of nowhere. Parking, even handicapped, is a country mile away up and down sidewalk/wooden walkway away! My Mom and her partner barely made it there and back! There were only three other tables seated when we arrived. There seemed to be friends or off duty employees kabitzing at the bar with the other employees. The dining room was noticeably cold. I nearly put my jacket back on during our visit. My wife and Mom kept there jackets on. Our server never introduced herself but the name on the check was Christian O. When she took our beverage order, I thought she stood an odd distance away, but that’s okay. Adult beverages included Strawberry Mudslide, Peach Ring Fizz, and an Old Fashioned. All were delicious though they seemed to take a little time with the few customers present. Kabitizing? We placed our orders. Three Bauren Schnitzel Sandwiches and a Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp. We also ordered Lobster Bisque and Stuffed Mushrooms as starters. The Lobster Bisque was a beautiful presentation poured at the table with a rather nice portion of lobster; however, it was tepid at best. The Luke warm bisque and the cold crème fresh results in a tepid dish. Mom and her partner liked the Stuffed Mushrooms but thought they could be warmer. Our main courses arrived fairly quickly. There were no complaints regarding the sandwiches but the shoestring fries were not hot. Overall the Caesar Salad was fairly good but the “grilled” shrimp didn’t seem to be. We might give them another try sometime in the future during the middle of dinner to see if there are any improvements but it’s a 40+ minute drive one way.

    We had our reservations in the midst of a bad storm with the restaurant generators keeping things moving. You couldn’t tell backup power was being used. The food was exquisite and the personnel were very attentive. We intend on going back later this year.

    The Copper Mug is a great spot for dinner or happy hour. It has fun antique ambiance and super friendly staff. The short ribs are heaven. The Castle Mule is a great cocktail—a daiquiri inspired dark and stormy with a blueberry kick. Loved it!
