   The service was excellent I mentioned on my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and they came out with a cupcake and sang to my friend. They also had a harpist which just made the ambiance very lovely

   The loudest high tea I have ever experienced. Not enough servers, but they did the best they could. They had a harpist that you could barely hear, I was almost embarrassed for her. The food was just ok, nothing amazing.

   The high tea experience was great and they made it extra special for my young child also. The tea sandwiches were delicious as well as the pastries. Definitely get the champagne!

    The Papa Noel tea is a wonderful tradition. It is not gentile - I was a little surprised at the noise level. But the service was great and we got quality time with Santa.

    The tea was not as good as in years past. All the food was on the table when we arrived, instead of being brought out course by course. I had requested sofas if possible, but instead we were seated directly next to the bar, which was quite loud. The service was also not as attentive as in past years.

    Christmas Tea with my granddaughter. Our waitress was very courteous and efficient. Food is a little gourmet for tea food but I guess you expect that at the Ritz:). The ambience was comfortable and nice. I have been bringing my granddaughter, now 10, for years and she loves decorating the cookie and the visit from Pere Noel.

    We went here for high tea and it was okay. We arrived about 15 minutes early and all of the food was already at each table. This grossed me out since COVID and knowing people could walk by and sneeze on the food of guests. I did not like this at all! It also made the tea sandwiches open to the air and less fresh. Our overall experience was good thanks to amazing service. I will not be coming back.

    The tea service is set in a beautiful atmosphere, and our servers were wonderful. My only complaints were that for $55 a person, there was much less food than usual. They do not offer sandwiches any longer. They also stated that for kid friendly options you must call ahead of time, so I called and left messages five times with no return. Also, when I asked for boxes, they took away in untouched plate of appetizers and stated that they could not return one to us. They also charged us for adults for a six and 10 year old. When I inquired about this, they stated that they received adult food and I must have contacted someone ahead of time if I wanted to have children there. Again, I could not contact anyone . Also, the menu states gratuity is not included, but they certainly included 22%.

    We went for their tea service and for the price we all left hungry. Kids food was cold and nothing any of our kids would even eat. It was not that busy but getting our servers attention was impossible. She would disappear for long lengths of time and we were charged a 22% service charge. We will not do this again.

    Live harpist added to the serene nature of this afternoon tea. Everything was really good except one thing: there seemed to be a lot of confusion about what a lacto-ovo vegetarian (i.e. normal vegetarian) eats. We were served deviled eggs with caviar on top of them (vegetarians typically eat bird's eggs but don't eat caviar because they require killing the fish to get the caviar) but there was an aversion to serve us dairy/cheese (we love cheese). Other than this, the afternoon tea was perfect. It's on the pricey side, but, it's the Ritz. Taking that into consideration, the value for the service was very reasonable at $40/person.
