   I really enjoyed my first time at The David Duncan House! Loved the atmosphere and decor, has a beautiful old fashioned moody vibe. The food was delicious, everything cooked perfectly. The servers were all great and friendly, I even had a piece of cake brought to me by a charming waiter who sang! :) Really great experience overall, I highly recommend going.

   We had wished to dine on the patio but weather conditions were against us.We were welcomed inside.The staff was helpful and informative. The cauliflower dolmades were tasty and a great flavour combination.The lobster pasta was equally delicious.Bravo! Continue your great work!

   We went for a birthday celebration dinner and it was the best service we experienced. James was truly exceptional from the time we sat down to exiting the restaurant. He was very attentive, focused and made us feel very comfortable, he even played “rock, paper, scissors “ with my daughter. He went above and beyond our expectations will definitely return for another celebratory event

   Everything was amazing. The food, service, ambience was phenomenal. The table side Caesar salad is a must try! Everything was tasty and the venue is in it’s own class. I can’t wait to be back!

    Had not been here in quite some time and although I believe the ownership has changed not much else has. Food was good and service was good but could have been faster. Prices were pretty high, but they are everywhere now I suppose!

    Prime rib Rib eye Halibut Shrimp cocktail Scallops Amazing! Good portion, nothing left on the plate. Cooked and served to perfection. Service was outstanding. What a perfect night to enjoy with family. Restaurant was clean, comfortable, spacious and unique. Definitely returning.

    A unique environment with incredible Victorian decor. We had salmon for our main course and it was perfectly cooked. Generous portion. Appreciated the complimentary desert for our anniversary.

    For what ever reason somethings on the menu like mashed potatoes were not available. Got asparagus instead, which they forgot to send out with my main, and it was less than stellar. The prime rib was really good. Served with a massive Yorkshire pudding. Overall the food was good but didn't live up to the cost imo.

    Excellent food and service. Have been going there for twenty plus years and it doesn’t disappoint. The Caesar salad made at the table was amazing. Celebrating my wife and two daughters birthdays and all had a fantastic time. Very attentive wait staff.

    What a wonderful time my wife and I had for our 45th wedding anniversary. We were thrilled by the elegance and ambiance. The food was exquisite from appetizers to main course to dessert The fact that Chef Derrick Brampton came to our table was an honour. We left the David Duncan House very satisfied and very happy .     My only complaint with the service was that the servers kept asking us to pass utensils to them. I’ve never been to an upscale restaurant where this has occurred. I recommend you do something about draft coming through your windows. I was near a window and I felt a slight draft all evening. Would I recommend to friends? No, because none of my friends would pay your exorbitant prices. We can afford it, and it was a very special occasion for a friend, whom we treated, and they suggested it, but I would not visit your restaurant again. I can get the same quality of food, service and ambience elsewhere for a more reasonable price.

    My wife and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. The beautiful interior, amazing service, and outstanding food made for a delightful evening. They even topped off dinner with a complimentary chocolate caramel cheesecake complete with a pink and a blue candle. We have never been disappointed in our many visits to this restaurant over the past 20 years.

    I first visited the Duncan House when it originally opened, I think it was in the 80's. My return visit proved that they maintained the highest standard in fine dining. The food was excellent, the service exceptional and the ambiance distinguished. I would highly recommended this restaurant.
