When we arrive the place was relatively busy but not for a Saturday night. We waited over an hour and a half for food. They never once asked to get us more drinks. We won’t be coming here again. There are just so many other options out there. The food was mediocre. Not too bad but not great. However, the masala mocktail was something amazing. It just doesn’t make up for the service or the food. Also, it was over priced for the quality.

We went here for my partner’s birthday and the food was delicious! This is definitely more of a place where you would order the food to-go but we had a nice experience. Reason I am rating this 4 stars is because the food is a bit pricey for the rice not being included with your meal. You also can’t adjust the spice level like at other Indian restaurants.

We were greeted upon entering. The menu was diverse with many choices. We got a lunch menu but needed to keep referring to the main menu to understand what each item was. It would have been nice to have descriptions next to items. The food was fabulous and there was so much! We ordered Naan because we didn’t know that it came with naan. We also ordered an appetizer because we didn’t know one came with the lunch. The lunch menu should have specified what the meal came with. Besides the confusions with the menu, we really loved the food and the attentiveness of the staff

Very slow table/waiter service. They added a ridiculous fee for using a Credit instead of cash with no noticeable signage advising of this silly fee. Our bill was near $450 with an added $20 credit card fee! The ambience of the restaurant feels like a mediocre banquet facility. Food was decent.

Newlyweds! We got married earlier that day and decided to announce it to our children over a delicious dinner. We had visited the restaurant twice already so our decision was fairly easy. We have the pickiest kids ever & I was worried that they wouldn’t like the food. However, everyone loved it! Even my granddaughter, who doesn’t like anything! The food was delicious as always! The service was excellent as always! The kids are asking when will we be going back already! OAN: the leftovers didn’t stand a chance!🤪lol 🏆🥇

It was a long journey but we finally found our go to Indian Restaurant in the Western Suburbs. The service and food were outstanding. We had the vegi samosa, butter chicken and chili naan. Everything was delicious. We are looking forward to our next visit where we can explore more of the menu.

We actually booked a reservation, and hoped to be given a special seating, and a treatment, but instead they gave us general seating with others, didn’t even bother if we had a reservation since it was for special occasion. They tried to offer us a buffet lunch, why would someone on a special occasion eat buffet lunch ? Although, the owner accepted our order, and the curry was extremely sweet. Paneer Makhani was not up to mark, we did not have a feeling about going back to this place at all. Extremely poor in all departments.

Server did not come yo our table nor take our order for over 15 min after we were seated even though there was only one other table with dinners in the entire restaurant. To celebrate Fathers Day we were looking for an Indian restaurant and came across Desi Accent close to our neighborhood. We were a party of 7. Most of opted for the Fathers Day special buffet and food was excellent and was replenished in a timely manner. Fresh bread (Naan) was served at our table. My wife ordered the Uttappam Dosa from the menu and she loved it. Service was also good with no issues. The owners were very courteous, friendly and nice and ensured we were taken care of as well. Place was clean and has a nice ambience. We felt both the veg and non-veg had enough variety along with the right amount of desserts. Overall a great experience and we will revisit Desi Accent in the near future.

Three of us had dinner at Desi Accent Friday night and much to our surprise it was actually occupied with a nice crowd. We had gotten take out from here a few years ago and it was not so great so we went in with low expectations. We ordered the chili paneer and samosas to start. DELISH!! For our mains we got chicken Tikka (extra chicken), lamb vindaloo, Chana masala, peas Palau and onion kulcha and garlic naan. Everything exceeded our expectations and more. The heat level was spot on and the flavors divine! For drinks we got DDLJ (something like that) and a pineapple Mocktail. Both were delish also. The service was excellent! We so enjoyed our evening and this will be our go-to spot for Indian from now on. Needless to say we could have been rolled out of there and left with some excellent leftovers. Kudos to the owner(s), chef and staff. Thank you!

The owner was very inviting and warm and made sure we were having an enjoyable time. The vibe and ambiance were great, as well as the music. The samosas and chili paneer were our appetizers which were well made. The main dishes tasted well; however, they did not seem as spicy as we were hoping for. Overall, still a good experience, and the food was still tasty.
