   The service was amazing!! Kind and helpful staff made the experience that much better. We had good conversation, they were not shy to show us a good dining experience. The blue point oysters are a must try for sure! The food was amazing, great portions for the price. Well worth it!

   The food was fine, a little cold, small portions - location and view 10/10. Servers were nice. Took forever to get good (30 mins) bc 1 kitchen serves all 6 floors apparently.

   Food was good, no complaints there. Drinks were ok, my old fashioned was great, but a few other drinks tasted like they came from a mix. The hostess upstairs was nothing but rude and very unprofessional. The restaurant was fairly empty, we asked for a different table (we were a party of 8) because the table was crowded and one seat was just about in the hallway. The hostess just chewed her gum and barely answered us, just said “no.”

    Great Nashville sushi roll, the shrimp and grits outstanding. Topped by one of the best old fashions I’ve ever had. Sat on the roof top bar and the bartender knew just what we wanted. Fabulous time. Will go again

    It was way too cold. The garage doors were open on the third floor. Everyone but 2 guests ask that the doors be closed. Food was mediocre.

    This restaurant needs to be revamped completely. First, there was no valet parking option. So to eat here, you automatically need to think about paying $30 to park in downtown Nashville. The food prices are decent…but you definitely get what you pay for. The food is decent. This is a place you go for the view of downtown. The shrimp and grits are my favorite. Don’t get their cheeseburger. They need to remove that awful burger from the menu completely. The drinks are served in plastic cups. They are low staffed (which is a common problem these days). Perhaps this restaurant needs to add more technology to make up for the staffing issue. Concentrate more on the food. I’m glad this place exists…but needs to be revamped.

    Went on Mother’s Day for dinner. They really weren’t busy. Food took a little longer amount of time to come out but my brother’s food didn’t come out till about 10-15mins after the rest of our table and he only ordered pasta. For the time we all actually ordered and received our drinks and food, we were ready to go because of the timing. Our pastas didn’t have any sauce. The soda were water because the machines weren’t working properly I guess. Our server was apologetic but in a complaint full type of way. For 8 people plus the gratuity our ticket was over $400 with a $70 tip automatically added. She didn’t try and take off the food that came out basically by the time we were going to leave until I asked but she didn’t seem to happy about me asking. The kitchen could use some help and the servers have better energy while talking to the guest. The best thing was the mimosa and the interior decor of the place. Not worth $400+. Maybe we just got caught them on a bad day.

    Food seemed pre prepped like a buffet. Came out within 5 mins of ordering, was luke warm, and not great. I likely will not recommend or return. Was also very expensive for the quality. My least favorite place in Nashville

    The atmosphere was poor, there were menu Items that were unavailable, when asked about meal the wrong distribution was given my server. Quality of food was poor. Very disappointing. Wait staff could have cared less you could tell not only by our sever but those working around us

    Reservation made and headed to fourth floor. Service was good not great. Had chicken and waffles, avocado toast and side of scrambled. Nothing was great enough to write home about. Typical diner fare. Was hoping for better! Good peach mimosa.

    Don’t go to the 6th floor expecting to get sushi (the biggest draw to that floor). It wasn’t ready to be served until over an hour after they opened. Our bartender took 15 minutes to even acknowledge us because he was counting his drawer. And then let us know he was tired, running on just a few minutes of sleep. After asking for silverware when our appetizers arrived, he said it wasn’t ready yet. Sorry but what the….? My meal was a salad, so I asked if I would have silverware for that. The answer was “hopefully”. The other floors of The Diner have always been great, but steer clear of the 6th floor…
