Generally the food was delicious with the exception of the shrimp appetizer. It came straight out of the fridge and the entire plate was too cold. The accompanying compote was so cold it was more like thick paste. Service was great and the Christmas decorations gave a perfect ambiance. Will come again.

We really enjoyed the High tea experience and our waitress was very delightful and accomodating. I also enjoyed the very comforting fireplace. This was our first visit to Eagenridge Resort and we will come again in the future.

Had the duck which was one of the worst meals I have eaten at a restaurant. Grissly and chewy. Overpowered by vinegar in the sauce. Barely edible. Also waited a long time for service after menus were delivered and were then told the restaurant had no beef dishes. Ambience is very nice but food quality very poor, especially for the price.

We had the prawns as an appetizer and they were delicious. Prime rib special was perfect and wine was outstanding. Wine was outstanding and value was very good. Waitress was very attentive and service was above average. Location and ambience was beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to any one.

Excellent food and service. We would have liked to have seen a few more traditional, local menu items such as lamb and roast beef but what we chose was delightful. Dining room is getting a little tired looking but still nice. Enjoyed our evening.

Lovely setting except we were in a corner. No one came to greet us we had to go looking. Waitress never asked how our meal was, topup water we had to ask, bought half a bottle of wine she plopped on the table for us to open and pour. Need more seafood on the menu but food was good

Overall, we enjoyed our dinners. All meals were tender and delicately seasoned. Those choosing prime rib wished to have some au jus or gravy with their meals. Also diners should have a choice with garlic or no garlic potatoes. One of our party thought her meal should have been on a warmer plate.

A wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my spouse. The experience overall was first class. The special menu was designed for romance - each course was delivered in a timely manner, with unique and delicious flavours, quantity perfect, excellent presentation. Had a choice of 3 options for each course topped off with a tray of delightful sweets and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert. We have been going to Eganridge for years and this was one of the best experiences. Can’t beat the atmosphere! Carly, our server, was charming.

For New Years it was a fixed menu. The mushroom soup, surf and turf and chocolate mousse dessert was superb. The salad was a little heavy on the tomato (although the dressing was excellent), and the cheese plate was subpar. The service staff was full value. Very attentive considering how busy it was.

We were well received and seated when we came in to dine in a party of six. We enjoyed the Focacia appetizer. It was very generous. Three of the party ordered the salmon diner and three ordered the steak. Unfortunately the consensus on the steak was that it was too dry and tough. The Assistant Manager was alerted and the staff did offer to replace the steak for the one person who found it too tough to eat and also offered two complimentary desserts. It is too bad this happened to our group who were visiting from Europe and had higher expectations of the resort.
