We had the 5th anniversary tasting menu - from start to finish it was spectacular. An amazing walk through the restaurant's history - and each dish was a jewel. The only thing better was the service, which was simply amazing all around.

The chef is trying too hard. The fava beans and peas in the pasta dish were crunchy. The spruce tip drink was way too sweet and didn't taste of spruce tips. The burger was ok, nothing special,. The cheese plate was fun.

Our waitress was lovely and service was fantastic. Food was very good, although we didn’t quite realize that both the apples we ordered would be the same flavour. We shared a steak and loved the flavours of everything that came with it. Drinks were fun and delicious. We’d want to come back again for sure.

Excellent meal with a decent bottle of wine. Not many options to choose from in the dinner menu, but what is created, is created splendidly. Would definitely return to the Courtney Room when in Victoria again.

Good food, reasonably priced. Delighted no service charge added to the bill as is the practice with many restaurants these days. Only downside was the tables appeared to be very close together so it felt a little cramped. It was a nice touch that there was a birthday card placed on our table for the occasion! Although it was a fine dining experience, we were sad to see that very few people dressed up for dinner - but that's nothing to do with the restaurant! We would definitely go again.

Our food was quite disappointing; the short ribs were 70% fat and cold in parts. The waiter took our food back and the chef substituted beef tenderloin which was very salty. The vegetables were over cooked. Even our wine was disappointing even though $74. The waiter was attentive and tried to make up for the food issues but all in all not a great experience.

It was brunch for eight. (Why does brunch end at 1100 AM on Saturday and Sunday?) Four of our table ordered the waffle, which were on the cold side. Service was good, but she needed a little more finesse, like bringing silverware at the right time and coming back to check on drinks. I gave her high marks, she was trying hard to make everything run smooth. The atmosphere is elegant. The other breakfast choices were very good.I would try again, but it is annoying that weekend breakfast stops promptly at 1100 AM.

Had entree seafood pasta for main course. Was poor flavor and quantity about twelve noodles and oysters were chewy very acidy broth. Ate some food when got home. The rest of party had steaks make better at home for much less. Anyway u asked for my review. Fried mushrooms were great. And roasted carrots were hard to find in the leafy greens as filler

We went here to celebrate a birthday. The staff was excellent. We opted for the Chef's choice menu with the wine pairings. Excellent meal. Some of the food was not something I would have chosen to eat so it was nice to taste a few new things. A bit expensive but worth it for a celebration!

We tried the 7 course tasting menu - it was delicious- maybe a bit too 'Gourmet' for my palate but definitely worth the experience. Our server Elane was exceptional! Jack the sommelier was also very knowledgeable & was receptive to our budget & palate.
