It was our first time at the diplomat. We were very impressed with the overall atmosphere and specifically our waitress and other staff. Our dining experience was worth every penny. The 'chateaubriand for 2' plated table side was amazing. We were not rushed and enjoyed our evening very much!!

Normally not my type of restaurant but we had a gift card. Our waiter took great care if us. The caesar sald that is made at table is the best caesar salad I ever had. That salad was highlight. We also had filet mignon which was outstanding.

Took a bit to get our seats which is understandable, even though we had made reservations beforehand. But sat there for 35 mins before we could even put in a order for appetizer. And was about 50 mins since we sat down when we finally got our bread, all the while tables around us got much better service, our drinks sat empty for long stretches. And when we finally got our main courses. The Neptune chicken tasted flourery and the beef soup was gross. And to top it all off, they added stuff to my bill that I never ordered. Thankfully they removed it. All in all, I expected better for a restaurant with their reputation, it was supposed to be the high point of our anniversary but was anything but. This was my experience.

Wonderful birthday supper with my son! Everything was made tableside - and tasted amazing!! The room was comfortable and classic steakhouse - and we could hear eachother talk. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Everything was great except my $50 steak was over cooked. I ordered medium rare, but received medium well/well done. Luckily, it was still reasonable tender and edible due to the quality cut of meant, but was obviously a disappointment for the price at a steakhouse. With that said, Jackson apologized and compensated us with a complimentary desert.

For food being as expensive as it is I expected better quality and better taste. The Greek ribs starter had absolutely 0 flavour and tasted like frozen out of the freezer food. As well, my steak came out completely raw which had to be taken back to be cooked. Completely disappointing food definitely not coming back.

Jackson was out waiter. Fantastic service and did a great job with our table side desert! We got the house special I believe it was, 10/10 on presentation and taste. Highly recommend! We go a couple times a year, but his service at out table definitely stuck out. I hope many more people get to experience talent at the table.

My boyfriend and I went to The Diplomat to celebrate his 22nd birthday and it was outstanding, definitely on the pricey side but well worth it. We got quite a few appetizers and a main dish for each of us and everything was fantastic, we both very highly recommend the salads though!

Ordered the steak Maitre' D medium rare, came out rare so not a terrible mess up, the scampi sauce was quite bland. The stuffed potato was so over cooked the skin could barely be cut with a steak knife, and the tops were partially burnt. Vegetables were plain, nothing special, best part of the meal was the Caesar salad that I had to pay extra for.

Dinner was outrageously expensive and the food was good but did not match the cost. Great atmosphere with very comfortable noise level. Service was okay but did not match the cost. And the server forgot the side of mushrooms although it appeared on the bill. Overall small portions. The VALUE here was substandard; other steakhouse restaurants provided much better value in my opinion. However, I would still recommend the experience as the ambiance is great!

The atmosphere at The Dip is always upper crust. Servers all all dressed in black and white. The table side services are all throughout the restaurant and smell amazing. The food is top notch but the service is beyond excellent. A fabulous experience here is Regina.
