Traditionally celebrated every Sunday, this meal brings together three of life’s greatest pleasures: quality meats, mouthwatering sides, and convivial times with good company. As integral to British culture as it is to Executive Chef Ryan Lister’s heritage, Sunday roast guarantees a meal with bold flavours, textures, and sauces. We serve each plate with roasted potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and pan gravy.     If you have allergies or food preferences contact the restaurant and have them confirm that they can accommodate. After weeks of having the reservation booked we showed up and they weren’t able to accommodate for a vegan or gluten free meal for afternoon tea. The Cauliflower steak for vegetarians is just a hunk of cauliflower with sauce and no additional proteins or sides and it’s $29. Additionally the hashbrowns are too dry and crispy. The afternoon for the not allergy or food preference folks seemed to be good.

    Great atmosphere - didn’t even know the bright and airy second floor existed. Food has always been a delight here. This visit was for a Mother’s Day afternoon tea - delicious and very good value. Will definitely be back for the Sunday Roast!

    Great restaurant, honestly have nothing negative to say. The staff were excellent, food was great - especially the Eton Mess - and the decor was unique and helped set the mood perfectly. Prices are on par with most other restaurants and overall thought it was great value for the quality and experience. Will definitely return and highly recommend this place.

    It was a beautiful day outside, so we got a table on the patio. Tried the happy hour cocktail, the gin & tonic with empress gin out of the teacups. Also had the falafel appetizer and the tuna tartare. Service was great!

    We enjoyed our entire experience at The Dorset. Are in town for a big 2 day concert event at the Rogers Centre and a friend who knows the city recommended we eat here. We both came for the traditional fish & chips and were so impressed. We upgraded to the fresh flown in halibut and it was delicious. The chips were perfect. The sauces (tartar and curry) both were excellent and the serving of mushy peas yummy. Staff were warm and friendly and we enjoyed our comfy seats and table. Really liked being able to see the kitchen upstairs while the chefs worked away. Also had the dessert which was phenomenal. Sticky pudding and the steamed sponge with custard sauce. Excellent in all aspects. The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated. And the loos were so elegant. Highly satisfied with our dining experience.
