    The experience was good, until I received my bill, where the tipping expectations starting at 20%. That is an over the top expectation. This needs to stop. Restaurants think they can extort money for average service. Tips are an option for the patron to say thank you.

    I love this place . Consistently good food and service. The only complaint I have is our server completely ignored the fact we didn't eat one dish. When we told her why she said we put fish sauce in it so it's fishy. Not stated on the menu. With this said it would not stop me from coming back. I have gone here since before covid and it's always great this is a 1 off. Of 7 meals it was the only one we didn't like. This place is great

    What an amazing find. We can't believe that it took us so long to try this place out. The food was amazing and deconstructed in the best sense of the word holding on to the classics of French Cuisine while being both playful, and inventive. The wine list is memorable and expertly curated. The owner exudes charisma and obviously has a gift for dealing with people. We were made to feel very special, indeed. The artwork on the walls is abundant and quirky adding to the fun vibe. We usually are not fans of the music that is offered in restaurants but even here, we have to say that some thoughtful choices were made. We are certainly going to return to The Eden; we have already - on the basis of one visit, put it on our list of favourite restaurants. We can hardly wait to sample more of their menu.

    Our waitress was very attentive . Alway right on time with cocktails even thought the place 100% full . The theme is blue collar with twist. For the most I like the twist , I love the cabbage roll. The tartar was a huge portion and a little on the rich. Over all a great night out. Chris Miller

    I have been a couple of times before and it has always been great– last night was another level. New menu launch with each dish better than the next. Always have the tartar as it is easily the best in the city. The other highlight was the Coq Au Vin which which was on another level. The chicken was done two ways (a crispy leg/roulade style) and a healthy portion for the price. The chicken sat on a rich cheesy mash and was covered in a thick and delicious reduction. We finished our night with a chai Crème Brûlée which was all you want for in a dessert. As we were leaving a little band was just starting. All in all the fun room, great service and delicious food will have us back– maybe even tonight! Thanks Eden

    This restaurant was new to both my date and I, and we LOVED it. We got a table upstairs, which felt intimate. The waitress was fantastic - very personable and provided excellent service. The food was delicious. There were so many different things on the menu that appealed to us, so we will be back to try other dishes.

    I have dined at the Eden a few times before our most recent visit and was highly satisfied with the quality of food, service and ambiance. This most recent visit fell short of those expectations that were first set. Seafood pasta contained very little seafood, and contained no Fogo Island scallops at all. The fried rice that came as the side with the rack of ribs was bland and lacked any inspiration. Hoping this feedback can help. It is mostly disappointing when meals put end up with these results as the price of experiences in bistros such as this are expensive for working class people. Thank you.

    Awesome food and service. Great atmosphere, the live jazz was great and even though was a little loud it wasn't obnoxious we could still have a conversation with the people we were with. We all very much enjoyed it and we'll be back there again for sure.

    Excellent experience overall. Food and service was top-notch and we felt well taken-care of by the waitstaff. Unfussy menu well prepared, but only two vegetarian options. We were there when they had a live jazz trio, which was great though it made the noise level a bit loud for conversation. Can't be helped in a smaller venue and they were really good with lots of jazz standards. Would go back anytime.

    The food here is delicious! We ordered the walleye and it was cooked perfectly with great flavours. I was there with a friend from out of town and the service was just the right amount of attentive and fun. The vibe is artsy and energetic. I love that they showcase local artists too!
