    This has become our favourite spot in NOTL, for the overall experience but most importantly the quality of the food. Excellent! BTW, the daily soup is always outstanding.

    Fabulous meal at Epicurean. As locals, it is one that we often forget about! But the food was served HOT (which it should), the service was excellent (thanks Melanie) and the calamari was amazing - not rubbery or anything. We will definitely be back!

    We had hoped to order from the dinner menu, but that was not available at the time we were shown to our table (4 p.m.). Other than that, and the moderate noise level, we enjoyed our meal very much. Staff is great, food is well prepared.

    This is our go-to place in NOTL. The food and service never disappoint. Our experience yesterday was no different. Our meals were delicious and all of the staff were friendly and attentive.

    The food was excellent and presentation was beautifully done. My only sour note was that the waiter kept pushing the espresso martini so 4 of us had them only to find out at the end that they were over $20 each with tax. They were good but outrageously priced. Felt taken, especially since the drink prices are not available when you look at “full menu” on open table. Prices have gone up for sure but come on.

    The calamari was superb! We ordered more. Pasta are equally fantastic. Lamb shank is to die for. Come and enjoy!

    Had a reservation made a week before, after arriving for dinner we seated near the back of the restaurant looking into the kitchen, awful location. Dinner porkchop couldn't be cut even with a steak knife. Sean the server was friendly and attentive but that was the only good thing about the place. That was our second and last visit to that restaurant!!!!

    Our waiter was an outstanding professional. His suggestion on the choice of wine was spot on. So much so, on the following day, we went to that winery to purchase more wine. My husband reviewed his ribs as outstanding, very similar to a Texas bbq restaurant. I loved my seafood pasta special. Although, the mussels were small, they were perfectly cooked and the squid was excellent. Only wish there was either more shrimp or scallops. Thought there were too many squids for this combination. Your crème brûlée was like we were served in Paris! Will definitely return.

    The staff were so nice and welcoming and service overall was good, however the food was horrible. We got the Pesto Chicken Wrap (which when we tried to modify the wrap with no tomato, the waitress told us they were pre wrapped… which fine, but $25?) and we got the French Onion Soup for $14. When I say the wrap wasn’t edible because the bacon was yellow and the chicken had this weird… aftertaste? I’m not the type to complain in person but I hope the restaurant sees this and maybe works a bit better to adjust the price point to the quality of food. French Onion soup was not worth it at all either.

    This restaurant is centrally located in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Queen. It is attractive inside but a little noisy due to hard surfaces. Wait staff efficient, friendly and attentive. Food very good. Drinks very good (bar area to one side of the restaurant). Very pleasant lunch.

    Usually love the food here but ordered carbonara pasta after being assured it was freshly made, it was Alfredo! And not good

    The meal was lovely. We were presented with many options for starters and mains. Jim was our server and he is definitely a professional! That makes the meal special to start with. He was very knowledgeable about wines and helped us make a great selection. The lamb is pricey but worth it. Ian’s wild mushroom risotto was tasty. No room for dessert, sadly. One quibble - we were seated at a table by the door on a chilly night. We got quite chilly too.

    We happened to be in NOTL Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Epicurean offered a turkey dinner with all the fixings that my husband ordered. I ordered the Penne Arribiata. Both delicious and good sized portions. Definitely worth the visit.

    The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately the prices were unreasonably high. $6.75 for a non-alcoholic beverage? $38 for chicken skewers? I won’t be back.

    Reliably excellent food and service. We had a very enjoyable lunch on the patio. An excellent patio with shade on the hot days and sun on the cool ones. Set in from Queen street so quiet and pretty. Fabulous specials - mussels Marinara very fresh and tender; spinach salad with blue cheese and pear topped with jumbo shrimp. Coffee always great. Good choices for Ontario wines by the glass. Much better food and value than 11th Post across the street.

    Big Disappointment. Reservation for a theatre night on Saturday and we were given the option of a table with a view into the ladies room, or to sit side by side at the bar. Drove in for this meal, but ended up leaving the restaurant after the manager told us we had ‘bad luck’ that everyone wanted to sit inside. I will pick anyone if the 20 other amazing options in town. Bad management!!

    This was a lovely spot to dine al fresco on a late summer day. Food was nicely presented and delicious. The wait staff were especially nice and helpful. They made our day most enjoyable!
