Dinner was very good and the presentation of the food was excellent. I will say I was disappointed in the payment and tipping options. Making 18% the minimum tip is a bit presumptuous. Overall a good night out.

From NOTL, love going to the Epicurean! Go there for many occasions and refer others. One of a few places in town where you can sit and feel in a restaurant and not a bistro - a lot of other places are bistros and have small tables and chairs, not comfortable. Here you have comfortable seating and lots of room. The food is great, nice wine list and people are very pleasant.

Nice surprise, a culinary treasure in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Staff members are friendly and engaged but not overly so. Menu is solid, with great daily specials. The chef did a fabulous job with one of the daily specials - a whole fish prepared so well, with rice and lovely veggies. Very good quality food at moderate prices.

Very charming place. Great service, great food and the ambiance is lovely. Had the best time on Valentine’s Day with my mom. I recommend the calamari. So so good!

We dined at Epicurean for the first time this past weekend while on a weekend away in NOTL. I cannot say enough good things! The food, the atmosphere, the service - all 5 stars! We got chatting with the owner who shared that one of the pasta sauces is a family recipe that has been passed down. Such a lovely story! The sauce was unreal and made with love. You will not be disappointed!

Our compliments to the chefs! The sea bass is very close to the BEST meal I've ever experienced! The flavours and item combination was outstanding ! There was one noisy group due to it being New Year's Eve. However normally when we go the noise level is fine. Alicia took great care of us....keeps us coming back every time we visit the Niagara region.

The drinks were not great—beer was flat and we sent it back but got billed for it anyway. The wine list by the glass was very limited. The special salad of the day was amazing, the rest of the food was fair. Overall, we felt it was an over-priced experience. The wait staff was very good.

Great location. Was attending Shaw Festival event and wanted to reserve a spot that would get us to the theatre on time. Very quick service. Just wish that they would put hours of operations on the door. Made the reservation for 11:45 and got there before that time and the sign in the window said closed. Made me think Open Table didn’t have the reservation right. They did open the door exactly at 11:45.

Have gone to this restaurant for years, mostly in the summer. It is still one of my favs and I have never been disappointed in the food or the service , but it desperately needs new chairs- it gives the place a shabby look because the leather look chairs are all peeling and have"holes" where the "leather" has peeled off.

We had a fabulous family dinner outside by the huge light tree on the patio behind the restaurant. Can’t believe it is November! Food was delicious! Can’t wait to come back!
