The venue was hidden away behind the door next to its sister restaurant, Urbane. It had a good vibe, great food and great service! We had a lovely evening and left with full bellies and fond memories :-)

Can't fault the food at The Euro, really outstanding. However the service was a complete shambles. Left so long waiting to just order, we nearly walked out, and things went downhill from there! After two hours, we still had only had an entree. We asked for the dessert menu after we finally had our mains, it was presented and then whisked away again with no-one asking if we wanted dessert, so we didn't have any. All in all, excellent food, but not worth the debacle of service.

We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday with the family; the Euro was expensive, but the dishes were beautifully prepared, & our waiter looked after us very well. We particularly enjoyed the gnocchi & the availability of European wines on the wine list.

Food was cooked to a good standard, let down by service as the member of staff who served us was unaware of some aspects of the food on the menu, waited at the door to be seated to finally just seat myself. More staff working than there where tables taken by customers so no excuse for un-attentive staff.

Their staff were very friendly and welcoming. And I can't think of any negative thing about the dish we had. We had the duck and special of the day steak. They were both so tender and succulent. We will definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful girls night at The Euro. The food was amazing. The jamon croquettes, chorizo, smoked barramundi and calamari were lovely. The duck was cooked fairly rare, but perfectly rested, the skin was not consistent around the table with some being crisp and others still rubbery. The waiter serving us was extremely insightful, asking our pregnant friend if she would like her duck cooked a little more.The service was a little slow, but all in all a great night out.

All dishes were served nicely, however the some the dishes were missing the wow factor. With our mains, the pork cutlets were extremely large and would of been better served with more spices and dipping sauce. It looked and tasted like chicken schnitzel. We also had the duck and it tasted like a pork fillet and the potato fondant was more like a potato rosti.Our deserts were soggy and the marquis passionfruit was over powering. Our meals overall were just so.

We went to Euro for my partner's 30th birthday on Saturday night. We both enjoyed the 5 course degustation - $80 each - which we thought was great value and offered a great cross section of the menu. My partner is 7 months pregnant and it was no hassle for the chefs to accommodate her cooking requests - ie, no rare meat. It was still delicious for her. Nothing was too much trouble for the wait staff or the chefs.We can't wait to come back and explore the extensive wine, beer and spirit menu

We came here for a birthday lunch for my husband. Being from Melbourne we LOVE our food and the European was a beautiful discovery. My husband had the beef and said it was a very well cooked piece of meat, and as a vegetarian I had a couple of options which were delicious - highly recommend.

I booked The Euro for a night out with my husband for his birthday (without the kids). We loved all of the food! It was cooked to perfection and we ate every last morsel. The staff were friendly and my husband and I had a wonderful night out!

Our experience here was thanks to a gift voucher for my 40th birthday. We would not usually dine somewhere so nice and we loved every minute of it. We would definitely come back for a special occasion.

I was actually quite disappointed. I had read other reviews and while people talked about it being a bit expensive I had thought if the food is great that's ok. We are always prepared to pay for wonderful food. Sadly that was not the case. While there was nothing actually wrong with the food, I would happily have eaten this meal in a pub, but not at a fairly pricy restaurant. A huge slab of pork and a few sad vegetables is not "fine" dining by any definition.
