Fantastic restaurant. Only two minor complaints 1) no draft beer and 2) for some reason they seem to ration the prime rib sandwich which is puzzling—simple solution: make more prime rib. It’s your featured sandwich and customers shouldn’t have to arrive by 6pm to get one… We were big fans of Bandera and although a slightly different vibe, Evie’s is right up there with its predecessor!

The Evid was beautiful, with amazing food, service, and ambiance. I had a huge party of 9 that was easily accommodated and treated great for the entirety of our visit. Will be coming back soon!

Overall we enjoyed our first visit. The occasion was a Sunday birthday brunch. All went well and the food was well presented. My only observation was that the red wine list by the bottle did not have a range of prices . This seemed to be odd as the white list did.

We were very impressed w Evie. We were met w a friendly smile and given a table by the window. Our server, Paige, couldn’t have provided any better service. She was excellent! We got the skirt steak and shrimp special as well as the old “Bandera” salad. It was wonderful. Beautiful restaurant!! We will be back!!

From start to finish, our experience was excellent. Our server was attentive without being annoying. The large square ice cube in my husband’s Negroni was crystal clear. My Pear Down drink was spot on and the dried pear garnish was also tasty! We had three sushi rolls, the magnificent mile, volcano and shrimp rangoon, and they were all artfully done and delicious. My son insisted that the shrimp rangoon roll was the best roll he ever tasted. I had the Steak Frites; which was cooked perfectly, tender and delicious. I’ve always been afraid to make it at home, for fear it would be tough and tasteless. For dessert, we tried the bananas foster baked Alaska, and it did not disappoint! The presentation was awesome with a slash of rum and set on fire at the table. My younger teenage son is sensitive to noisy venues and found the acoustics perfect for his sensitive ears. We could hear our party easily and the background noise was not bothersome, even though we were seated in the row of booths next to the bar. The ambience was quite enjoyable and pleasing to the eye. The prices were on par with the food. We greatly enjoyed our evening at The Evie and will be back!

Nice view from the second floor along Michigan Avenue. Menu offered a wide selection for lunch. Overhead music was too loud, even when I asked if it the volume could be turned down to allow for conversation. We ordered from the corporate business lunch menu, a prefix menu. Little did we know that when ordering ice tea as a selection, only one glass was included. Any refills were charged.

Wonderful place for dinner. My colleague and I were looking for sushi close to our hotel and The Evie did not disappoint! Service was great and very attentive. Food was delicious and the sushi rolls were a perfect size to share! We’ll be back!

The food was amazing, steak and salmon was cooked perfectly. Cocktails were fabulous. Chanel, our server, was attentive and the manager (owner possibly?) came over to check in on our group of 6. We’ll be back for sure!

We had a lovely dining experience the night before Thanksgiving. The ambiance and service were the highlights of the evening! Very attentive. Sat by the window with my 2 sons. Sushi and lobster rolls were excellent, as well as highly recommend the Key Lime Pie for dessert! Looking forward to coming back soon.

What a beautiful location to begin with! Great views of the city and such a vibe inside! The servers and front were all very friendly and attentive and the food was a 12/10! Highly recommend!

This restaurant space (previusly Bandera) has always been great- it is quiet and secluded and the fdood is great. Service was top notch- Jasmine was great. Drinks were terrific and food was great as well.

We had a delicious, pre-holiday dinner at The Evie. We shared the apple salad (composed of tender greens, cheddar, cranberries, pecans & grilled Delicata squash), then we both ordered the lobster roll. It was chock full of tastily seasoned lobster meat, with drawn butter on the side. We also had a table at the window—a bonus due to the holiday lights of Michigan Avenue. The restaurant was also beautifully decorated for the holidays. We hope to visit again very soon.

The Evie was a very good experience for us from start to finish. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Food was very tasty, the ambience was nice but there is no theme with the music - all over the place. I would recommend The Evie with it's great location, excellent service and diverse menu.

Sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful. Bread pudding was dense and delicious. Apple salad was good, the squash was seasoned deliciously. Our only concern was the salad came with more dressing on it than we care for, we should've asked for it on the side. Beautiful place with a nice atmosphere and view of Michigan Ave. It was easy to have conversations.

It is an exciting & dreamy experience to dine at Evie having a table near the windows to view The Festival of Lights parade. Ayca is a wonderful, warm server and Evan is a friendly, professional manager that always finds time to touch the table during busy and slower dining times. Excellent restaurant.

OMG!!! So Beautiful! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with nothing but SMILES! My waiter was Charlie. So friendly & informative. Drink was Delicious ! Food Delicious ! My boyfriend ate his food like he was on an episode of Game of Thrones…so embarrassing 🙄 Music was a vibe I definitely will be back. The staff team work was AMAZING!

Exceptional food and service, they have a cute happy hour menu for drinks and apps 3-6. Only thing not great was the California artichoke app but I may have had different expectations than what it really was. The banana’s foster baked Alaska is a yummy and fun dessert to share! We had a party of 4 and it was enough for us to all try and enjoy.

Excellent food and service. We live in the neighborhood and will come back. However, we would appreciate if the restaurant would turn down the music. It is difficult to hear conversations even at small booths.
