    Anniversary dinner. My wife and I were so impressed by the food and service. The price is a little steep but we were not disappointed.

    We are long term albeit occasional customers of the Fat Lamb and enjoy the urban vibe, upscale food, deliciously prepared and well presented. Sadly, a price tag of $200 for us is beyond what we consider reasonable and so we dine there less and less frequently. We have many options equivalent with all of these qualities and a price tag half to three-quarters the Fat Lamb

    Fat Lamb is always good but last night, 8/30, the restaurant was unbearably hot. Everyone at our table was sweating the entire dinner. We had to resort to fanning ourselves with menus. To say the least the dinner was not as enjoyable as usual because of the heat.

    Hi Ann. I do apologize for the heat last night. Our AC just couldn’t keep up with the amount of people we have and the excessive heat of the day. So think it set records in August for how hot it was. Obviously this is no excuse and I do apologize.     We went their for dinner last night because of the rave reviews and needless to say, the food was a total disappointment. Heather was our server and she made suggestions but failed to follow up after our entrees were served. She came towards the tail end of the meal. We started with the lamb meatballs for appetizers and it was easy tell that they had been sitting in the warmer past their expiration time. I guess charging exorbitant price for 3 meatballs is where all the efficiency is. Not only they were hard to cut through but dry inside. We ordered scallops and "Tandoori" lamb chops for entrees. The scallops were done well. The risotto used as a bed was also few hours old. The so called "Tandoori" lamb chops were not tandoori. I dont think, the restaurant/chef knows what a Tandoori is. A BBQ glace/sauce or whatever you put on those chops is not tandoori. I come from the country which made tandoori famous so I know what I am talking about. Please try to do better with the prep and quality of your food. Price should not be your only motivation.

    This is our favorite place to celebrate! I've been here with a small group of 2 and a large group of 9 and the service is always excellent, the food is hot and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is perfect! I tried the Cioppino for the first time and it was so delicious! The prawns were enormous, as were the scallops. We can't resist the Roasted Brussel Sprouts and I'm not sure if the Baked Goat Cheese & Pita or the Whipped Feta & Pita are our favorite. Several in our party enjoyed the Braised Beef Short Rib which is NOT to be missed. We were so full, but couldn't leave without some of the Nutella Moussee - words cannot describe how delicious this is - and we tried the Warm Blondie because we just had to taste the rosewater vanilla ice cream! It did not disappoint! Maddy was an excellent, attentive server and gave us very good advice on our selections and the drink menu.

    Fat Lamb is creative and has great vegetable appetizers. Love their cauliflower, fried artichokes and Brussel sprouts as well as the lamb meatballs and goat cheese. The entrees are also great and the house old fashioned with Maker's Mark is great.

    I absolutely love FAT LAMB their service is impeccable.The burger is excellent probably one of the most juiciest burgers in Louisville Kentucky. The CHEF's Team is literally chefs kiss the open cooking station is immaculate, to watch them cook and serve straight to table was beautiful. I love to cook and watching them was a joy.

    I want to like Fat Lamb. Each time I go, there is always something. We ordered a bread service “fresh from the oven”. It was cold inside - sent it back. They were out of the burger on their menu. I order beef short ribs - $49. They were fine. For $49, they should be more than fine. Their prices are high - much higher relative to the food of other, equivalent Louisville restaurants. With so many dining options in Louisville, there are several that “bring it”, and at a better price.

    Hi E. I just wanted to comment that I did stop by your table and literally asked how everything was and every single person at your table said everything was great. We are not for everyone. I don't want to be for everyone. The short ribs are probably the best in the city. Not sure where you eat short ribs but they are delicious here. Our prices help us pay a living wage to our employees and our food is creative but approachable. If we are not for you that's fine but to know "there is always something" when you come in is crazy since every time you come in we actually do a table visit and ask how things are is ridiculous.
