Today may have been an off day, usually food and service is pretty good. Took almost 20 min to get our drinks, even though it didn’t ‘look’ busy, lots of tables empty. We ordered brunch, asked for medium poached eggs, but yolks were hard, so waited for a redo of the eggs. Not the best experience this time.

Our group was seated on the patio outside and we had the best time! Our server, Nora was FANTASTIC! She was super attentive, warm yet professional. The food, as usual is always delicious. We always know we're going to have a great experience at The Flying Pig in Olympic Village, and you delivered!

Sadly, our food pretty much disappointed for all three of us. The menu reads beautifully, but what we got was really lacklustre. I had specifically asked how big the mussels were that day, and was completely shocked at how teeny they were (when told they were big and juicy). Over 60% of the shells were closed or almost closed! The soup was so thick, it could hold a fork upright (as we waited almost 15 mins for the server to bring a spoon!). It was disappointing… but our server was pleasant.

He estado en otros restaurantes de esta cadena y han sido mucho mejor. Fuimos mi esposo y yo con mis hijas jóvenes. Aquí la comida solo es buena pero no deliciosa, no esta de acuerdo al costo. Pedimos Salmón, Pasta y Carne. Creme brûlée lo mejor de la cena. No tiene estacionamiento. Amable servicio y ricos cocteles.

Came here on a quiet Thursday night to have dinner / late night bites / drinks with friends! The vibe is really nice and chill, the service was really friendly, and the food was good (not outstanding in my opinion, but good). Prices were fair and lots of good happy hour options. Overall, a really nice evening!

Server was so kind to offer some tasting of wine before we ordered. I know this is normal practice now, but it is such a perk because it sure sucks when you don't enjoy your glass of wine. Regarding food, I found my trout and the accompanied risotto under-seasoned. I'm always surprised when I go to a restaurant and need a splash of salt. I was also surprised that the only salt they had was table salt, not a nice finishing salt, which is what I was expecting. I was also disappointed when my trout came skin- side down. Goodbye, nice, crispy skin. In my opinion, that is an oversight by the chef. Overall, it was a nice experience but my meal (and maybe the food in general) could have used a bit more love.

Server was not efficient or friendly and lacked the skills to be a waitress. She insulted one girl and called her a name (maybe she was joking) but it was uncalled for. Did not listen to customer, could not figure out a simple bill at the end with 6 guests and they were told 6 bills when booking and ordering and it took 45 minutes for her to try an separate ours bills and not correctly so we gave up and just paid as is. Charge for 8oz rose full price when it was still happy hour and no 8oz listed on menu. One person was drinking water, and every time she kept asking if she wanted a beverage and we kept saying no just water please at all she drinks and she couldn’t keep it full ever we were always asking. Also didn’t clear plates or empty glasses after 20 minutes we stocked them on another table, and she still ignored them, even when we asked her to remove them. Also, the other thing that I remember was the plate Risotto was over cooked and prawns were baby shrimp Wings had no sauce Mac n cheese, muscles, meatballs, pulled pork and salmon cakes were all amazing.

Great service from manager, server and hostess. The steelhead trout salad was good, but not great. Complimentary appetizers of charcuterie, bocconcini tomato and prosciutto was great though. Music a bit crass (blaring Bryan Adams for much of our business meal) but cool, dark ambiance was lovely on a hot day.

When we inquired about specials our server said there were none. However we noticed another waiter deliver a large sharing platter to the table beside us. When I asked what it was , he said it was the special. We definitely would have ordered it had we been told about it. Left us with a bad impression of the restaurant. Obviously poor communication between managers, kitchen snd front staff.
