Overall a good value. If you're into BBQ it will not disappoint. The staff was really nice to us and the food came fairly quick. Its a definite repeat visit for us with more friends next time.
We had our new years dinner at the Frontier BBQ and Smokehouse and were pleasantly treated by the staff. The food was very good, especially the ribs and the service was fine. They had live music which lasted about 15 minutes which was a shame, but overall it was a great experience.
Food was great but a higher price for New Years Eve. Great service and nice atmosphere. We had a nice time!
Great overall experience. Good food! Great service!
Best food on the menus beer
That’s all I need to say
This was a very good choice to enjoy good food and with a staff that met your needs we will definitely come again.
Love the effort to keep diners as safe and well fed as possible. The family-style dining is a good concept, but the tables are much too small for the platters. Also, the checklist menu works in theory, that is until the server forgets several dishes or loses the sheet. Perhaps an iPad system would be more efficient. Otherwise, the food was good, the place clean, and the servers, pleasant.
Would recommend improving your service by approx 3x, and encourage your staff to treat customers well.
Had flies in my drink and the manager disputed it and said there was only 1 when my whole table saw there were at least 4-5 flies. After that they gave me $7 back because they said my drink was almost finished whereas there was still half left.
Food was mediocre at best, this place is good if you're just looking to eat a lot and don't care about feeling sick after and don't care about eating a nice meal.
Servers needed to be called out 2-3 times before we received their attention.
Went for a birthday and mentioned this, they didn't even acknowledge that.
Overall, if you're going here expect very less and definitely don't go there to celebrate any occassion.
Kevin attended . very good service
the food was very good
Variety of meat could be better, RIBS were dry and hard..
Found it pricey for quality. They also didn’t tell us that gratuity was included in the bill but they were great at refunding the extra $ we put down.
Food was fantastic; should play some more upbeat tunes for back ground noise.
We were the only customers it was comfortable and food was delicious
The food was really good but they had a bigger party at the back and so we barely received any service they can to take our buffet order twice and we had to flag them down. The door staff saw is there and had no customers but didn’t bother to ask if we needed anything when we were looking for someone
Good was very bland and dry. We told them we were celebrating and NOTHING. No mention or anything. Service was BAD. Never got asked if we wanted another drink. So empty glasses were taken away and sat there with nothing to drink.
Delicious food brought directly to your table by friendly attention servers
I had only been here once Pre-Covid, but I really liked how the food was brought to the table this time. Great food, friendly waiter.
This is a place was awesome. We do a lot if reviews on restaurants y was a great place.
Amazing service and delicious food. Highly recommend this restaurant
Great service. Unique way to provide buffet style during the COVID 19 pandemic. Good food. Good times. Great staff.
The waitress and servers were amazing!! Unfortunately i found the food sub par
The ribs, pork belly and broasted chicken, Mac n cheese and quinoa salad (aka Greek salad) were delicious! We will be back!
Our server Kevin was great! The food was amazing and really good value for you r money. Especially being in Nagara Falls where everything is so overpriced. We will definitely be going back on our next visit to the falls!
Service was almost overwhelming to the point where they kept trying to take my plate away that I hadn't finished yet.
Don’t ever go this restaurant, you’re better off finding other restaurants closeby. The food sucks and the service was horrible. They have the worst Mac n cheese ever. Not worth a penny
Food and service were amazing! Definitely will be back!
We were very disappointed by our meal at the Frontier.
The food was not good. The staff was very slow. We had expected a lot better.
Save yourself the disappointment and go to the Keg or Brasa
This reataurant was recommended by a coworker of mine that shares my love of being a carnivore!
The brisket, ribs and broasted chicken were all delicious, as were most of the sides. The only disappointment for me was the potato salad, but that may simply a matter of personal taste.
It isn't a place to go to for ambience... you go to eat, and heartily!
I found the price per person - 34.95 on Saturday - to be on the pricey side, but if you love BBQ, it nay be well worth it to you.
I'll be back!
Good was good with many choices at a good value. Service was great.
We're locals. The service and smoked meats and sides at Frontier BBQ in Niagara Falls are excellent. My wife and I had the pleasure, again, of being looked after by Kevin; he is a valued Server. The Frontier is our favorite for a special night out and of great value.
Was a wrong choice of restaurant . I won’t go back anymore.
Serving tableside with a buffet menu - you get what you get. Inconsistency in some dishes - first set of ribs were great - second set not so much.
I service was good, however they forgot a couple of things we ordered. Apart from that, quantities were good especially that it was all you can eat.
Did not care to have my food brought to me as its buffet style. Would of not bothered To come,Took to long 2 hours to eat our dinner. Realy slow...Waited 10 minutes just to get corn.server said they where behind but the place wasn't so bussy. You need to goback to your old way ...customers get their own food...and this time food was a little over cooked and your Mac icheese had no cheese...what happened to you guys????????? 100 for Dinner and was not inprest at all. Last time e where it all was sooooooo good....
Food was super dry and gross. Definitely not coming back here again. Meal came to $100 after tax and it was definitely not worth it. Meat was dry, pasta was cheap, Mac and cheese was dry and not cheesy at all. Very disappointed. Will not be returning.
Miss the actual buffet - it is not the same having to choose stuff off the menu to try - I really hope the buffet comes back after covid is over
Way over priced for the food. You are paying top dollar for food that was bland and not really a buffet.
I’d say a 3 1/2 star rating is appropriate. The food is good but not great (maybe those saying that it’s the best bbq ever have limited experience here). Very inconsistent - our first round was tastier than our second round but second round was hotter. As others have noted, brisket was the best of all the dishes we tried (which was almost everything). Ribs were ok but a bit chewy and sauce was meh. Sausage was very good, as were the beans. Chicken was on the bland side, as were all the salads and sides. Mac and cheese was downright awful. Buffalo chicken slider and pulled pork slider were also pretty good but sauce was not great and the bun was far too large. I was shocked that a bbq joint only had pulled pork in a slider and sauced it down so as to mask the beauty of the pork itself. Deserts were also quite forgettable…but we didn’t go for the desert. And in the end the server failed to give us the local discount that we asked for prior to getting the bill (but shame on me for not double checking). Unfortunately the food didn’t sit well with me later that night either. Niagara Falls has many other “buffets” and even more delicious restaurant options so we won’t be back.
Staff were fantastic. Food was good. Buffet would be better so you could select your own portions, but food is brought to the tables quickly. Definitely enjoyed the S’mores dessert
