The ribs, pork belly and broasted chicken, Mac n cheese and quinoa salad (aka Greek salad) were delicious! We will be back!
Our server Kevin was great! The food was amazing and really good value for you r money. Especially being in Nagara Falls where everything is so overpriced. We will definitely be going back on our next visit to the falls!
Service was almost overwhelming to the point where they kept trying to take my plate away that I hadn't finished yet.
Don’t ever go this restaurant, you’re better off finding other restaurants closeby. The food sucks and the service was horrible. They have the worst Mac n cheese ever. Not worth a penny
Food and service were amazing! Definitely will be back!
We were very disappointed by our meal at the Frontier.
The food was not good. The staff was very slow. We had expected a lot better.
Save yourself the disappointment and go to the Keg or Brasa
This reataurant was recommended by a coworker of mine that shares my love of being a carnivore!
The brisket, ribs and broasted chicken were all delicious, as were most of the sides. The only disappointment for me was the potato salad, but that may simply a matter of personal taste.
It isn't a place to go to for ambience... you go to eat, and heartily!
I found the price per person - 34.95 on Saturday - to be on the pricey side, but if you love BBQ, it nay be well worth it to you.
I'll be back!
Good was good with many choices at a good value. Service was great.
We're locals. The service and smoked meats and sides at Frontier BBQ in Niagara Falls are excellent. My wife and I had the pleasure, again, of being looked after by Kevin; he is a valued Server. The Frontier is our favorite for a special night out and of great value.
Was a wrong choice of restaurant . I won’t go back anymore.
Serving tableside with a buffet menu - you get what you get. Inconsistency in some dishes - first set of ribs were great - second set not so much.
I service was good, however they forgot a couple of things we ordered. Apart from that, quantities were good especially that it was all you can eat.
Did not care to have my food brought to me as its buffet style. Would of not bothered To come,Took to long 2 hours to eat our dinner. Realy slow...Waited 10 minutes just to get corn.server said they where behind but the place wasn't so bussy. You need to goback to your old way ...customers get their own food...and this time food was a little over cooked and your Mac icheese had no cheese...what happened to you guys????????? 100 for Dinner and was not inprest at all. Last time e where it all was sooooooo good....
Food was super dry and gross. Definitely not coming back here again. Meal came to $100 after tax and it was definitely not worth it. Meat was dry, pasta was cheap, Mac and cheese was dry and not cheesy at all. Very disappointed. Will not be returning.
Miss the actual buffet - it is not the same having to choose stuff off the menu to try - I really hope the buffet comes back after covid is over
Way over priced for the food. You are paying top dollar for food that was bland and not really a buffet.
I’d say a 3 1/2 star rating is appropriate. The food is good but not great (maybe those saying that it’s the best bbq ever have limited experience here). Very inconsistent - our first round was tastier than our second round but second round was hotter. As others have noted, brisket was the best of all the dishes we tried (which was almost everything). Ribs were ok but a bit chewy and sauce was meh. Sausage was very good, as were the beans. Chicken was on the bland side, as were all the salads and sides. Mac and cheese was downright awful. Buffalo chicken slider and pulled pork slider were also pretty good but sauce was not great and the bun was far too large. I was shocked that a bbq joint only had pulled pork in a slider and sauced it down so as to mask the beauty of the pork itself. Deserts were also quite forgettable…but we didn’t go for the desert. And in the end the server failed to give us the local discount that we asked for prior to getting the bill (but shame on me for not double checking). Unfortunately the food didn’t sit well with me later that night either. Niagara Falls has many other “buffets” and even more delicious restaurant options so we won’t be back.
Staff were fantastic. Food was good. Buffet would be better so you could select your own portions, but food is brought to the tables quickly. Definitely enjoyed the S’mores dessert
I've been here twice and the main thing that attracts me to this restaurant is the brisket and ribs. There are a couple things I would avoid such as buffalo chicken sliders & sausages. The night I got them, they were way too spicy (All I taste was black pepper, no hint of any other spices).
Price-wise it is great! Kevin was understanding about disregarding LF Fee if you're a Niagara region resident, and was professional.
Things to definitely grab: Brisket (Just the regular one don't bother with hash), Ribs, Creole Rice, Potato salad, mashed potatoes.
Our server, Matt, was amazing. He was attentive and offered to help with any request we had. The food was very good and the new family style serving method works quite well. Matt was so helpful with ordering amounts as he knows portions and guided us into not over ordering food. Its slow season in Niagara Falls so it was quiet and an enjoyable experience. We will be back!
Good food, friendly service, great price
Disappointed with food-really not worth the price-I am told by relatives their experience was much better pre- Covid I’m from Niagara-probably would not return
I feel like this restaurant should go back to being a buffet that you serve yourself food took waaay to long to come even though everything was still set up like a buffet our drinks sat empty because the waiter was to busy getting everyone's food and working at the bar also we got sat down at 5:30 we didn't leave until 7 the food was okay just need bigger portion sizes if they are continuing ordering at the table side because it took to long this way
Food was good at first however Both me and my wife felt sick within after our first plate of food
The food fell way below some standards as to what I would call food. We felt ill afterwards and will definitely pass the word along to avoid this restaurant. The smoked chicken leg smell alone made our stomachs turn… almost a chemical smell when we cut into it. Would definitely NOT recommend this place.
I'm always wary when something says all you can eat that the quality will be poor. How wrong I was with this place, the brisket was the best I've had in my life! You need to go here.
Many thanks , good restaurant and wharm welcome but your key succes is your employe professionnal, kind and understanding, thank you so much
1st time here, will definitely come back. Great food, and a very attentive server. Overall great experience
We recently moved to the Niagara area from the East Coast. Our first (of many to come) visit to Frontier was fantastic. From being greated by the polite hostess, being seated and served, was a terrific experience. Mary, our server was awesome. She was very helpful with our food recommendations. We have traveled extensively and found the food to be top notch. The tenderness of the brisket, tastiness of the pork belly and beans, to the crispness of the corn on the cob. Delightful!!
My wife made me promise that we make our monthly restaurant outting to come to the Frontier.
Very pleasant staff. Plenty of food.
Birthday dinner. Being from South Carolina, we were disappointed in the taste of the brisket. The ribs were ok.
The service was bad waited 25 minutes to get a pop only ordered 2 dishes since our server never came back it wasn’t busy outside at all. The food didn’t have a taste at all was cold by the time we got it only good thing about it was it was all you can eat but it was only when they brought you another slip
My server, Andrea, was extremely nice, food taste good and with right temperature.
The food was just awful I will never go back ! It wasn’t what I was expecting.
Trevor the server was awesome. Wish there were sauces to add to the meat. The brisket was absolutely fantastic.
Lovely food served by a great server .. would definitely recommend and will definitely return on our next trip
Good food! Many choices.Been a couple times now.Was not disappointed
I love this place price is good food is unbelievable good and most of all it is all you can eat I hope there will be a franchise in Toronto soon
Excellent service from the staff! The food was good with generous portions. The ambiance inside is dated. There is a big patio outside.
