    Such a lovely garden setting with live music playing over the speakers from the Mallard lounge. Service was excellent and the prefix was good.

    We had an amazing dinner! Nick was the only waiter in the area and while service was a bit slow at times, he did his best and was just a delight! He even took some photos and brought us champagne after a surprise engagement made the night that much better! The manager was kind and diligent to deal with any issues. The food was amazing, as were the wine pairings. The ambience is so unique- you would never guess you were in a busy village in the garden.

    We were visiting from California and were there to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Pathetic experience although the staff and service was great. The food was bad, I got fish which was super dry. We got the pre frix menu expecting it would be cooked to perfection. And this is not our first time dining at the Fairmont. We’ve always had a good experience with food. We reached at 7:45, had appetizer shortly and then had to wait for over 90 mins to get our entree. I had to go and tell the server that it’s my mom’s birthday, she was very nice got us more drinks and told us that there is a big party before us that was causing the delay. The desert was also very average. They did give us. 20% off the bill but honestly ruined my mom’s big day. She was very sad since she didn’t eat much and everything was closed. Overall very bad experience.

    We had been to Wildflower previously but found yesterdays dinner service quite lacking. We had a toddler and the lady who led us to our table did not offer us a kids menu and we also had to request for a highchair (even though it was in the notes for our reservation). We had to request for a setting and kids menu for our little one. Once seated, the server for our table was great and she really tried to make the experience as pleasant as possible. However, the kitchen was ridiculously slow and it took over 1.5 hour from appetizer to main course, which we thought was unacceptable. By the time the main course arrived, we had been seated for almost 2 hours and decided to pack our entrées and dessert home. Though the food was tasty and the patio was beautiful, it’s unlikely we will return for future visits to Whistler.

    A truly magnificent experience that felt controlled and safe at this unprecedented time. If you would like to celebrate something special with your family this is the perfect way to do it. Highly recommend this intimate and well thought out evening at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. We will talk about this wonderful experience forever!

    An amazing experience and night. We enjoyed every minute! The service, the food, the ambiance was perfect. And the highlight was that we got to play our own music which was a fun surprise for the kids. Would highly recommend! 5 star all around
