    The food is always amazing here! I’m quite disappointed that in my reservation booking I advised my girlfriend and I are celebrating BOTH of our birthdays (hers was September 11th and mine is the 23rd). When we arrived for our reservation we were asked again if we are celebrating an occasion and again I advised both of our birthdays. At the end of our dining and drinking, we were asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu and we did browse the menu. We paid for our bills, didn’t order desert and no acknowledgment of either of birthdays was made. I’ll be back for the good food but I won’t be celebrating an intimate event here as it doesn’t seem to matter.

    Only 4 stars as we found the food just a bit to salty for us, other then that would have given 4/12 but that was not an option. Please don’t let our option keep you from experiencing an amazing dining experience.

    Amazing dinner with friends. Burrata with beautiful fresh Tomatoes, Leek and Potato soup and Romaine Hearts were fabulous appetizers Halibut with fresh vegetables in pesto broth was delicious. Steak Frites with green beans were better than any steak house. Coconut Cream Pie and Lemon Pousset with Blackberries topped off the night perfectly. Service was perfect, like every time.

    Food was good but we ordered oysters and there were a few bits of shell in them. But, the cocktails were super good and the mains were very tasty!

    Outstanding service, been to the restaurant many times. My steak was not good, was medium-well done on one side and medium rare on the other, I ordered medium rare. Never had this happen before but for $52 should be perfect.

    It has been a few years since our last visit and the Glen Tavern did not dissapoint. We had great service and great food. I really like the restauarant overall. I think they could benefit from accoustic panels, I found it was a little difficult to hear the people at my table- but I also have tinnitus so it may not be an issue for others.

    Thank you to the entire staff at The Glen Tavern for an unforgettable birthday celebration for my best friend! Everything was perfect! It was very highly recommended by family and well worth the hours of driving through rush hour traffic because from the moment we arrived we were transported into a different, far more enchanting place than we’ve shared in a very, very long time. The cocktails and wine were incredible. The food was impeccably presented and absolutely delicious! The coconut cream desert was every bite as scrumptious as your downtown Toronto restaurant. Each staff member from Lindsay who called to confirm our reservation to our delightful server, serving staff and the host less went above and beyond to give us the best dining experience imaginable! We are so grateful and very much look forward to returning again in the future. Highly recommend this restaurant—it’s been the highlight of our summer dining experiences! Thank you kindly again!

    Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. The food was absolute perfection. You have to order the gnocchi!!!!! Worth the drive to Glen Williams. Make it a date night or head over with a friend to enjoy amazing food and the cozy atmosphere.

    The food is usually outstanding. The scallops were outstanding but my duck was lacking the crispy skin. In the photo, it looked like a full breast with crispy skin, but on the plate it was cut up and lacking in crispy skin. The other flavors were excellent on the plate. The cream pie was great. Just a bit let down by the duck skin this visit. We hope to come back even though we are moving. Still the best fine dining experience in Georgetown.

    The steak dinner would be my death row meal. Absolutely incredible. Steak melts in your mouth, the mushrooms are so flavourful and i don’t even like mushrooms.

    Food was outstanding 5 star. The service was poor. We had a cocktail to start the evening. Ordered our appetizer and main course. Food came it was delicious, our waitress spend more time talking with some regulars than looking after our table. When she finally did check on use I ordered some wine. We had finished half of our meal before the wine showed. When the regulars left she started giving use better service. I go to the restaurant 3-4 times a year. We have never experienced this type of poor service in the past. We will try again, but hopefully get a different server.

    We have been there many times and have generally been happy with everything! However I continue to be disappointed that you do not have a designated permit parking spot!
