   First time with family. Server was friendly and attentive. Cocktails were strong and unique. Food was filling. A few comments: the 18oz ribeye required more finishing salt and it was more on the tough end of the spectrum even though it was ordered rare. Our server was courteous enough to recommend only one patty in the cheeseburger for the minor in our group but if we had know that there would be no reduction in price, we would have taken both patties and then put the extra one on the side. Good suggestion but it should come with the knowledge that there would be no reduction in price.

   The food was delicious. We ordered the quarter chicken and the halibut which was on special that night - both dishes were amazing. The chicken was moist and flavourful. We also ordered a Kale Caesar Salad for an appetizer and the deep friend chicken skin made it standout.

    We've been a few times now and it still amazes me how they're able to create food that's as complex as some of the dishes are, yet still eats like comfort food. Menu has enough variety that you can share large and small plates for a different experience each time, or do like I did last visit and finally cave and get a burger. No regrets on that front, nor do I regret requesting the goose poutine with it. We'll just pretend I hit the gym the next day and move on. Strongly recommend the tomato salad as a shared starter. I'm not a big tomato guy, but they put something in it that makes me crave it fortnightly. The dining experience has been great every time. The staff are very attentive and seem to have no problem going above and beyond to make you feel at home right from the second you come in and smell that wood fired grill. Shout out to Conner and the team, it really does make a difference. If you do visit and aren't sure what to order just let them know. Their knowledge of their menus is very impressive. Can't recommend The Goose enough.

    The Goose has a limited menu but they've transformed the space they're in and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's definitely worth checking out, and I love that they're right in my neighbourhood.

    We had a casual early evening meal The food is perfect gull valley tomato salad with Buratta/hummus bannock starter wow and shared their club sandwich a real treat with a couple of beers.. great service so happy to have this restaurant in our neighbourhood.. happy hour 3-5

    The Goose exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent and the service was second-to-none. The pace of the delivery of our orders was well-paced, not hurried at all. The family style serving of the rotisserie chicken was perfect for our foursome.

    Easy to find location with plenty of free parking. On a calm day, the smells from the wood-burning oven fill the neighbourhood. The atmosphere is inviting. The music is great. Care and attention is paid to all aspects of this restaurant, from cleanliness to ingredients to menu to food to dietary concerns to staff etc. The Goose is a very friendly place with great and interesting food and they go out of their way to ensure you have an experience worthy of repeating.     I had a chicken dinner and my wife had the lamb shank. Both were prepared well with great flavors. The chicken came with exceptional French fries that are usually quite "vanilla" in most restaurants. Lamb shank is also quite a rare item so pleasantly surprised about that....

    My friend and I came up to Calgary for the weekend and did not know where to go for dinner but we decided to give The Goose a try and it was by far one of the highlights of our trip! We can't wait to go again and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Not only was it a nice, clean and trendy place but the food was AMAZING and bursting with flavour. Our waiter made the experience one to remember as well. He was so lovely, genuine and passionate about the food. We sat and enjoyed ourselves for a couple hours with some wine and never felt rushed. We were very well taken care of! 100/10 recommend and look forward to another experience here.

    Such a great neighbourhood and Calgary 'gotta at here' location. Take in their Happy Hour and take home the awesome food - we did!! Glad you are open and will recommend to enjoy, thanks for a great experience.
