We met our former BC neighbours who now live in Cgary for lunch on June 2. We were returning from a driving trip to Winnipeg. The food was exceptional as was the service. The only negative was the noise level that increased and increased, many loud noisy crackly women! We had a lovely time & most certainly would return if we lived in Red Deer, a community we enjoyed.

The food was definately above par but the servers (2) were slammed with a busy restaurant so our food didn't come out hot and our appetizers took about 1/2 hour to come out. Unfortunately, the menu's were forgotton on our table for our entire stay of 2 hrs as well. Overall, still a nice place to meet and visit over good food.

We have been numerous times, but the service this time was not what it usually is. Our waiter forgot some of our items, we had to ask for condiments and still didn't get any salt or pepper. My husband and I had the classic Benny, and we weren't impressed. The biscuits were soggy, not a lot of taste.

Loved our experience at the Granary Kitchen in Red Deer. Food was delicious and well presented; steaks cooked perfectly to our desire. Service was courteous and efficient. Patio was quiet and clean. Only wish we weren't too full to try dessert! Will definitely be back!

Came for birthday dinner and got the full treatment! Was greeted with a Happy Birthday from the host, then by our server and from the lovely girl who brought our food to the table. Such great welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for a wonderful time and the complimentary dessert, best sticky toffee in town by far.

Great spot in Red Deer, we met friends for a couples date night and were blown away. Staff were super friendly and attentive and the patio had great vibes. We will be spending some time here! We were all very happy with our food. We had chicken Madeira, sirloin Oscar, mushroom ravioli and a Brie burger. We shared the blooming onion and WOW!

We enjoyed our meal. We were there on Mother's Day. It was very busy. We had made a reservation and had to wait to be seated for about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, we were there for brunch but it ended at 1. We changed our plan and all ordered chicken. As always the food was excellent.

Our server seemed nice, she was just very busy and overwhelmed. Not sure if she had the support she needed! Several things missed and our food took around 50 minutes which was a bit long. Once our food came, it was overall good! Chicken and waffles had tasty chicken, but waffles were underwhelming and tasted like a box mix. Not sure if I would come again, even though the menu is really intriguing!

The service was extremely poor but I believe it was that one person. Everyone else was great. Our server was slow to ask for our drink orders. We were there at 10:30 a.m. and it was not busy. All the meals we ordered came with a choice of potatoes - shredded or cubed. There were 4 of us and only one was asked for their preference. When the food came, 1 order was incorrect. It wasn't worth asking for the right order as it had taken quite a while to get the food. Someone else brought our meals and cleared our dishes. Our server checked on us twice in 2 hours. She admitted that she kept forgetting about us. When she brought our bills, 2 were incorrect. She said she would be right back with the debit/credit machine but we had to go looking for her after 20 minutes. The farmer's omelet was excellent. The waffle was not - very heavy and chewy.

This restaurant is phenomenal! My spouse and I went there for lunch after finding out the gender of our little babe on the way. The service was excellent, food was phenomenal, and it was just overall 5 stars! My parents go here often and rave about it and I know for sure understand why. Great spot, Red Deer is lucky to have!
