Cody and Zike gave us excellent service. Food was awesome.
Very good! Great price, good value for wing night.
We were looking for something different in Red Deer. We were pleasantly surprised with the menu and enjoyed our food. Bridget was an excellent server. We’ll definitely come again.
Took my kids there for dinner. We were all very happy with the menu! They have a kids menu for smaller kids but we ordered off the main menu. The kids loved the burgers, they both had the Rig Up burger. I tried the ravioli and it was very very good. Great service from Kara. She recommended the sticky toffee and it was so yummy!
Met some family here from out of town and everyone loved it! We were greeted right away and sat a nice semi private table so we could talk and catch up. Great lunch menu, salmon burger was so tasty. Service was top notch, kept our coffees full and hot, great service. This is our new go to!
This was our first visit to The Granary Kitchen and we were excited to try it as the menu looked phenomenal. The seafood linguine was delicious but the sirloin Oscar was extremely tough even though it was cooked properly. Our drinks were good and the speed of service once we ordered was very fast. If you’re going on a Saturday evening I recommend making a reservation as it was very busy in there.
Went with my one girlfriends for dinner and once again nothing but impressed. The service was awesome and everyone was so friendly. I had the rig up house burger which was so so good and my friend had the Sirloin oscar and she said it was amazing. Most definitely will be coming back again!
Great wing night! Left stuffed, thanks for the great service keitha!
Great food every time we come. Wing Wednesday was great. Loved the wings. Always have had great service each time as well. Definitely worth trying this place.
Very good wings! Good size and flavour at a great price! Will be back!
Went for lunch And our server recommended the roasted red pepper and tomato soup. It did not disappoint! Also had the chicken club which had just the right amount of spice.
Went here for my birthday and was surprised by the great service, amazing food and pleasant atmosphere. Will be returning again soon!
Went on a date with my boyfriend here afew nights ago and it was awesome. Amazing service from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. The food was also amazing with good prices. The sticky toffee dessert is to die for! Definitely love this new locally owned restaurant, we will forsure be back!
Can’t wait to return. Lunch date was fantastic. 5 stars on the food and the service. And it’s locally owned! Huge bonus points for that. 5 star recommendation!
We enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon lunch! Service was wonderful and food was delicious!
Great food and service. Locally owned is a big plus. Definitely a hotspot. Highly recommend a meal here. The food is great
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Service was great too. Great prices are worth noting. We recommend and will be back again 100%
Fantastic restaurant. The food was fabulous. I would not hesitate to go again.
Tables were a little close together for wheelchair seating option. Noise level a little high. Excellent food & service tho.👍🏻
We picked this restaurant from its website and the fact it uses sustainable local Alberta ingredients. The food was terrible. From small portions to inadequately cooked food, this restaurant did not live up to its reputation. We embarrassingly sent back three dishes which we could not pallet. The manager made things somewhat better but we left the restaurant frustrated, embarrassed and hungry.
Great food and great service. Great spot. We will return
The food was barely Luke warm, steak was chewy, caesar salad isn't made with kale and the caesar dressing was so salty I had to wash every bite down with water. Since we dined there, we have talked to 3 other people who had a similar experience. We dont eat out a lot, so very disappointing to have a below average meal for $130
We were a party of 12, seated us close to the doors, some cold air was blowing, couldn't even take our jackets off.
Chicken was raw, potatoes were hard in the warm potato salad, asparagus was tough and stringy.
Server never took dirty glasses or dishes off table. Bar drinks took a long time to be delivered.
Dessert was delicious.
Fun place to have lunch. Tomato pepper soup
flavourful but cool. House salad and grilled toast nice compliment. Good service and pleasant ambiance. Like Finn McCoull building continues to be cold.
Had a great business lunch. Told our server we needed in and out in an hour and she did great! Best steak sandwich I’ve had in a while.
We had a great time. Melina served us and answered all our questions about the menu. Can’t wait to come back for the lunch!
We had a large group with children and they placed us in a more private area of the dining room that worked out really well. Service was excellent and prompt. Food was good.
While the staff were very apologetic this was the worst experience I have had in Red Deer. 8 of us all at at different times, it took 30 minutes to get a beer delivered. Our first guests sat at 6:10 and we did not leave until after 9 pm. What they did do right was apologize profusely, sent the manager over to our table and they gave us our meals for free. This was the first time that has ever happened so kudos to the staff and managers, that was very much appreciated.
Glad to see this place as busy as it is. Nice to see so many beers on tap also, including some great local craft options. This venue is a winner in our books. It’s the new go-to for my wife and I
Came with a few friends to try this place out. Totally worth it. Food was really great. It’s very cool that this place supports local alberta foods as much as possible. Everything tasted amazing. Service was great and the overall feeling of the place was good. We will return again soon, thank you!
The place was surprisingly quiet, given the Christmas season. But, it did take a while to get both our drinks and our food; when it arrived, the vegetables were cold. Our waiter appeared to be the only one serving half the place, so that might explain the slow service. The food was “okay” - not to die for...but okay. Prices are good.
Ease of booking reservations on line was excellent, table was ready when we arrived.
The waiter was overwhelmed with the amount of tables (12) he was attempting to serve.
We waited a very long time for service and the service once we ordered was very slow and missing the extra touch. Two of four meals were cold, and were sent back with the next meal coming out in stages.
We were compensated with a reduction in two of the meals and two desserts.
Would not recommend to friends or family.
2 of us ordered the blackened chicken. 1 was blackened with grill marks, 1 was white with bright orange spices on 1 side. Obviously never was near a hot surface, let alone blackened. Told it was the same dish then when almost done was told they didn’t do it right got half $ off. I never send back meals but... it tasted like a boiled chicken breast with spice on 2 side. Other meals cold and basically average. Probably won’t go back.
Started with a coffee and baileys because we were seated by a window cold with a draft. Drink was barley warm. Food was the same. Had the pork ribs, the sauce tasted like a no brand cheap bottom of the line Walmart special. Server seemed run off his feet. I will say the sticky toffee pudding came out piping hot on the sweet side but the best part of the meal.
Excellent food. Lots of choices especially for the meat eaters of the group. Lots of creativity in the presentation and taste combinations. It was a bit cold right beside the door. I'd get a table further from the entrance next time.
We went as an office for lunch. Our group was 9 people and we were delighted by the quick service and the quality of food. I heard many people in my group say it was one of the best "steak sandwiches, tuna melt etc." that they had ever had at lunch time. The meal was delicious and the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend the Granary Kitchen.
Had a great dinner. Gyoza were so good and our server was awesome. Super funny and quick service. Great knowledge of the menu as well. Can’t wait to come again!
Amazing food and service. We had a family dinner, the Southern chicken is awesome! We will return again soon. Great value and nice place
The food was amazing!!! While our server was nothing but pleasant it was incredibly busy and took a while to even place our order. There were a number of items not available, because it was so busy. This restaurant has always been very noisy (even before it became Granary Kitchen).
The service was not that good. It was not that busy either. The server spoke a million miles a minute. The food was plain and disappointing. I expected more from this place. I will not be returning.
