We were a party of 3, including one elderly hard of hearing person with mobility limitations. We felt welcomed, were seated promptly and easily. Service was cheerful and prompt and the food was excellent. Noise level was high for a person with hearing aids, but not impossible to work around. Overall a great experience.

When our meals came the plates where SO hot so it was very apparent they had been under the warmers for some time. Fries were cold, lettuce and veggies in the chicken clubhouse were soggy from being under the warmer. One of our party got the wrong side with her steak. Our server was very sweet, she felt bad because the bar was out of almost every single beer they were supposed to have on tap. She did try to give us free dessert which was a lovely offer but no one was wanting dessert… could have given a beer for free?

We made a reservation and when we got there the hostess said we will be sitting outside on the patio. We asked her if we could sit inside instead and she said no. There were multiple EMPTY tables. When we asked her if we could sit at one of the empty tables and she said no. Its none of her business but I was diagnosed with skin cancer and try to avoid the sun when possible. So knowing we wanted to sit inside she took us to the table that had no shade. We had to insist on sitting at a table in the shade which there were a few. She seems very unhappy with our request. The tables all had no cutlery and cutlery didn't appear until AFTER we got our meal! And we had to ask or it wouldn't have come at all. Its too bad because the food was really good.

I drove from Edmonton to try The Granary Kitchen in Red Deer, and I must say, I had an amazing experience! The server was very nice, and my most favourite item was the buffalo chicken spring rolls!

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was quiet and personal. Had the Cajun chicken, which was soooo good. The patio looked busy but it was hot so we ate inside. Definitely a great date night or girls night spot. Can't wait to go back.

Went out for birthday dinner, food was amazing. Chicken Madeira came highly recommended by our server and it did not disappoint. Free dessert to top of a great night. Glad we had a reservation as it was very busy for Thursday evening.

From the moment I walked through the doors of The Granary Kitchen, I was thoroughly impressed with their excellent service. Attentive yet unobtrusive, the staff ensured that every detail was perfect without making us feel rushed. The food was excellent - and I especially loved their sticky toffee pudding!

First time we went there as we are not from Red Deer and I would love to try it a few more times as more items were enticing on the menu. Loved the blooming onion but it is a lot, even for 2. Steak was good and so was the chicken. Service was excellent. We sat on the patio.

The pacific rim bowl was good, but the mussels were a little ripe. It's really the wrong season to have them. The mushroom ravioli was excellent. The beet salad was very fresh and plentiful.

If you like waiting 15 mins for a server to notice you, see your cocktails sitting on the bar waiting to be delivered to your table for another 10 mins and having to scream to hear each other while dining on your overpriced bland food..then this is the place for you!

First want to thank our server Chelsea for guiding us through the menu. We’re celiac and she had all the answers we needed. She accommodated our requests and we had a splendid time. Patio was great, music was lovely and not too loud for us. And they had a gluten free dessert. It was a great time and great food!

I had high hopes for this restaurant. They fell short. It had great reviews so we picked for our out of town date night. The food was just ok. Wings were really small so not much to chew on. The waitress forgot to put our entree orders in. Mistakes happen, but she would have noticed if she had come to check on us. She didn’t. And when it came the entree was like warm. It was a disappointing meal and service. I would not recommend, nor will I be returning.

Service was good. Servers were generally attentive and helpful. Extensive menu. Recommend scaling back a bit and focus on better quality of food. Food was average. We were there for brunch/lunch. Staff were able to modify the eggs Benny for my wife, but it arrived cold. My other family had breakfast and their food tasted okay but also arrived cold. I had the steak and eggs breakfast. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came medium close to medium well. Also, steak was extremely spicy, which I wasn't expecting. Steak should only be seasoned with salt/ pepper.....may be a while before we come back as we try to eat at non chain restaurants and will try others. We might recommend the Granary but not necessarily for brunch.
