    Shrimp were filthy and after mentioning to server he didn't do anything but shrug it off. Lobster was very old and chewy. The chicken was good and the other goodies. Overall was way overpriced especially the alcohol.

    We went for our anniversary dinner - with gentle asking we were given a table at the railing affording less noise, privacy and great views. Both the service and food were exemplary

    I love this restaurant and have eaten here many times. I almost always order the grouper piccata. This visit, the fish was not the same. The fish, when I cut into it, was fishy smelling and really didn't taste the same as it usually does. Everything else we ordered was delish, but not the fish. I would have sent it back, but it was a birthday celebration and I didn't want to fuss.

    This is a must stop if you are in Pensacola/Pensacola Beach. The food is amazing...perfectly prepared and exceptionally delicious! Everyone was so friendly and our server, Ashley, was everything you could ever want in wait staff. Order the Grouper Piccatta... it is the best I have ever had. Save room for dessert!

    One of the best overall restaurants in Pensacola. Food is good, view is amazing, staff is friendly. Definitely make a reservation. This is not a great place to just “show up” and hope to get a table. Typically 2-4 days ahead of time works. Best seat is outside by the rail in the water.

    Our brunch at The Grand Marlin was so delicious! We had the crab fingers appetizer and grilled redfish and grouper picatta. Finished with the Strawberry butter cake which was fantastic!! Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

    Table not on water but I understand that's not a guarantee with some parties slow to move on a Holiday weekend. Did not feel the oysters Rockefeller were up to their usual greatness but good. Dessert was nice as well as grilled shrimp. Overall very pleasant. Never disappoints.

    Kayla was our server and definitely the best in all of Pensacola. We don’t like garlic so the chef made mashed potatoes without it. We had the grouper piccata and it was perfection. The praline basket for dessert topped off the perfect meal.

    The Rockefeller oysters were delicious and so was the calamari. The red snapper was good but not great. The dessert mixed fruit and ice-cream was excellent. The service was extremely good.

    Food was excellent. We had a table in private dining room overlooking the water for Mom's 90th birthday. Ambiance was crashed by a 5 year screaming child throughout dinner but I would highly recommend.

    Delicious meal and great service celebrating our anniversary! TGM has the best blue cheese wedge hands down! The scallops in the caper brown butter sauce was awesome as well as the wasabi tuna! Only minor complaint is the broccolini had large tough stalks. Scott was a very attentive server and the complimentary praline basket was a nice touch!! Definitely we’ll be back!!!

    The food and service from the bar tenders was wonderful, we chose to set at the bar since the table we had reserved was unavailable even with us arriving 30 minutes early and waiting until 7:40 to choose to stay at the bar. We had reserved a table for sunset viewing, even though we did not get to see the sunset the Manager and bartender working went above and beyond to accommodate us. We will be back.

    We came for my partner's birthday. Everything was fantastic! We thought we were going to be late so we called and they had no problem accommodating. We ended up on time, and were seating immediately for our reservations. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and spent the perfect amount of time at the table. Food came out quickly and was cooked to perfection - we both cleaned our plate. Desert was wonderful too! I would definitely come back again.

    Excellent for family celebration. Our waiter, Mark, provided outstanding service and made great recommendations. The food was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed the lobster fingers, calamari, red snapper, crab cake and yellowfin tuna. It was the highlight meal of our Memorial Day trip. We look forward to coming again. Thank you, Mark, for going above and beyond our expectations!

    Always excellent food, service, and ambience. Ate outside, beautiful evening. Good entertainment. Trevor took excellent care of us. Wife and I split the lobster finger appetizer, which is one of our world favorites. The Chef’s Special grilled Mahi was exquisite. Add a wonderful bottle of Pinot, and it was another magical evening. Always recommend Grand Marlin highly.

    Door and service were outstanding! I had the grouper pompano-probably the BEST fish dish I’ve ever had. Husband had the mahi and cleaned every bite on his plate! The praline fruit basket was beyond yummy!

    This visit to The Grand Marlin was our 5th over the last 7 or 8 years, every time we we come to the Alabama beaches.. this time we stayed in Pensacola Beach, only 4+ miles from the restaurant! The food and service has been consistently good over those years.. delicious food, excellent service. And, perfectly crafted cocktails! Our server, Ramone, was friendly and attentive, providing the service you would expect, but do not always receive, at better quality restaurants. Prices have increased, but so has the cost to all restaurants… I do not fault the management for that. Dining at The Grand Marlin helps make our beach vacations even more enjoyable.

    First our waiter was excellent he really tried to accommodate us. This use to be my favorite place in Pensacola. Last night the surf and turf were a disaster. My filet was tough as leather the surf was the same as our appetizer lobster fingers not what the menu said and something was wrong with the lobster not fresh. Food has really gone downhill but okay for the”tourist “ very disappointing compared to what it was in past.

    As usual the food was great ! The corkage fee has always been 15 dollars .- when the bill came it was 25 ! We frequent The Grand Marlin and we’re surprised at the 40 percent up charge this time. It was a turnoff. I noticed all the food prices have gone up somewhat and that is to be expected - but the corkage fee was quite high- almost doubled- seems exorbitant.

    The food was delicious and service was excellent. This was our first time here and it was a special occasion. The problem is we were expecting a nice relaxing meal over looking the water on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Then we found ourselves trying to enjoy a meal with a DOG barking nonstop just a table down. It was my impression that this was to be a fine dining experience. I would not have expected to be put in a situation where there are No Pets Allowed

    The Grand Marlin is a must eat place for us when we’re in Pensacola and it never disappoints. The nicest restaurant in the area with the best menu. The fish is always fresh and the service is top notch. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike.
