    Very cool building and atmosphere. Tables are a little tight to each other but food was amazing. It is a little pricey but is good for a special occasion.

    Beautiful place to eat. Elegant surroundings. Food was delicious, we were well taken care of. I would recommend The Granville Inn. It was a nice treat!!

    Dinner was good. We shared chicken legs and onion soup, which were tasty, and then we both got the tempura shrimp salad which was ok—shrimp was better than the salad, which lacked flavor. Service was good—pleasant lady. We stayed the night and had breakfast which was good but the eggs and omelet were overly salted, leaving us very thirsty.

    Love the breakfast menu. The five choices covered everything possible you could’ve possibly wanted. It was presented beautifully and tasted delicious and served with a smile. What a wonderful way to start your Day out.

    My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this was our first time eating at the Granville Inn. I made reservations on Open Table and in the special request box I asked that we get a table at a window or other romantic spot. When we arrived there was only street parking available, but it was plentiful. Once inside we were greeted and taken to our table at a window with a beautiful view. Our Server was very informative and polite. Dinner selection was good and the taste was very good. Tables are spaced well enough apart that noise level is low. Price for food and drinks was reasonable for this type of venue. We will return for sure.

    The pancakes were AMAZING. Highly recommend. Their maple blueberry sausage links are also delicious. Staff was polite and helpful.

    Lovely birthday lunch with best friends. French onion soup was some of the best I have experienced. Three of us had salads which were large and tasty. Fourth person had prime rib sandwich. He removed some of the bread before eating. Two people had martinis @ 11.50 each with an extra $3.50 alcohol charge attached. The drinks were noticeably weak. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Timing of food was leisurely which we appreciated. At the end of the meal, we all ordered coffee. This is the only time service quality faltered. Our coffees were barely warm. When our bills came, their were items that had been switched between the couples. The difference was small enough that we fixed it between us and didn’t correct it with the waitress. Cost of lunch was $74.00 plus 20% tip. Will definitely return. Lovely inn. Great ambience.

    Appreciated the mostly peaceful atmosphere. Staff was friendly and our server made recommendations. The lamb shank was bland, bu everything else was tasty. A nice anniversary dinner.

    I love the building and have been going here when in town since 2017; it's sad to say it has been hit or miss these past 2 years. The pandemic, supply chain issues and staffing are factors, but I feel at this time, to charge $30/entree and receive a tough piece of filet mignon was absurd. The lettuce was old and tasteless, drowned in a not very good dressing. The waitress was very inexperienced and it is so rare to have a properly trained staff that knows & enjoys how to serve. They still get a big tip based on overpriced food, but I do think there could be more training. We did express our concerns, but nothing was done (she probably didn't know what to do, or even care). Probably the last time there. Our favorite waitress who was very experienced wasn't there--probably retired.

    Wonderful dinner. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts, scallops, and the salmon. Lovely dining room, attentive wait staff. Beautiful place to visit in Granville.

    The service was horrible and so slow and the waitress never came to Check on us. Never came back after our food came out. Took 30 min to come back to get the bill. Never asked if we wanted refills or another glass of wine. Food was decent, but service was awful. I got the salmon.

    The restaurant has been nicely refurbished since the last time we were here. The service was excellent, and the staff was very attentive. The menu was very standard, with nothing standing out for us. We had the pork chop and the fillet mignon. Both meats were nicely cooked, but we found the sauces for both entrees to be too salty. We even found the breads too salty. The deserts were nice and the coffee was excellent. I think we’ll look for a restaurant with more creative entrees next time.

    We often meet with our good friends at The Granville Inn for a nice dinner get together. The food is always outstanding and the service is as well. Perfect ambiance for conversation and a meal to catch up with some of our favorite people. The 4 of us give it 8 thumbs up! Highly recommend!

    If you enjoy the older charm and dark wood ambience, this restaurant is for you. Wait staff is great, friendly, and eager to accommodate your requests and needs. The chef and his attention to detail was the highlight of our meal. My wife enjoyed the cioppino and I the lamb shank. Wine suggestions came from the chef and were spot on. Can't say enough about how happy we were this restaurant.

    The food at the Granville Inn is always excellent. This lunch did not disappoint. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The server was attentive and prompt without being intrusive. The dining room has beautiful wood paneling. However, this means that even a few people talking can sound loud. It's not a big problem; we carried on a conversation easily. But it is not a quiet restaurant. I love the Granville Inn and urge everyone to try it.

    The Salmon was undercooked and strong tasting which tells me it was not fresh. Sat me by a register that was in the floor which blew cold air constantly.
