    Mix up in meals I ordered Grizzly Cut , medium, with a extra bit of fat. My brother ordered Grizzly cut medium rare When meals come to table, he end up with medium and mine was medium rare with the extra fat.

    Good food and atmosphere. A little noisy but that went away when a large group left. My steak was cooked perfectly while the mussels my wife had were delicious.

    Great pizza, very expensive drink ($15). Lasagna special was decent but also pricey with tiny side salad. Lovely server, Sunday evening so it was quiet.

    Salmon was not to our liking but was cooked perfectly just tasted like frozen salmon not fresh. Server and chef went above and beyond to make it perfect for the replacement meal. I had the strip loin and it was perfection. Perfect medium rare. Calamari is not to be missed. Ambience is perfect for a date or a family dinner. All around A+ and would be back again.

    We actually didn't even stay to eat so can't rate the food. We dined here 25 years ago on our honeymoon so planned to go to celebrate our anniversary. Upon stepping in it felt like a cafeteria. The tables are old and scratched. Just not the atmosphere we were looking for for a celebration dinner.

    All the main course we ordered were good. The appetizers were not as good as expected especially the calamari. Very tiny squid pieces and portion was small.

    I love this restaurant. I have only one complaint, the prime rib is always cold, along with the gravy. Potatoes are hot, side veg good, but the meat and gravy are cold. I hated to complain but it’s been every single time we have been and ordered the prime rib dinner. Would I recommend this place to a friend? Yes I would but I always tell them the prime dinner is cold

    Service was great , food was perfect. I was disappointed that they opened at 4pm and we had to wait to play pool until 5pm. We came for Father’s Day and by the time we ate , we became full and wanted to leave so didn’t play pool. Otherwise all was great

    The food was as described in the menu and portions were very adequate We had beet salads for starters and the prime rib and tortellini for main courses All very good the beef was top notch and the pasta was tasty and included some asparagus The hostess and our server were excellent The Malbec by the glass very good value

    Been looking for new places to eat and one of your managers kevin convinced me to try your restaurant.sarah served us and did a great job.kevin came by the table and greated us as well.food was really good,we will definitely be back.very positive attitude from all your staff.

    It took over an hour to get our food from when we ordered so we left. We ordered wine so offered to pay for the wine and they said no that’s okay. So we left. Awful service. They got a table of 60 in so blamed it on that. Aren’t you a restaurant? I don’t get it. Shouldn’t take over an hour to get our food. That’s ridiculous

    Terrible experience. Over an hour from the time we placed our order until we got food. A prime rib and a steak. One plate was cold when it came out. Server never checked on us and was terrible. A busser delivered our food and we had no cutlery given to eat it with. Then cutlery came… with butter knives for steaks. Waited again. Finally steak knives came. No S&P on table or offered. I asked for a time check on our food after 40 mins and the server said “ at least another 10 mins- they were not so busy, and tables seated after us got their food and left before our meals. I suspect she forgot to ring in our orders. Mandatory tip on machine too. Terrible.

    Took 90 minutes to get our dinner after we ordered. Prime rib tasted aweful. We haven’t been to the Grizzly in a while. I can’t see us going back.

    We had a fantastic experience, the food and the atmosphere was great. We where a group of 7. Prime rib was the best we’ve had. The only negative was my Pear prociutto pizza was dry , burnt and overwhelmed with cinnamon. When I addressed this to our server her response was “ ya it’s more of a desert pizza “ . That was all. I feel it should have been better handled or offered me an alternative. Everything else was great!

    Just a few things. Food was cold upon arrival at our table. Seemed to be only one server working with multiply tables, did great considering. Alcoholic drinks very expensive. Drink menu unreadable with choice of colours for background and font. Prime rib was perfectly cooked thank you! Weird sauces on carvery board, delicious but not sure what they were, a complete guessing game, different sauces from original brought when more needed a bit confusing. Steak cooked perfectly but the fries need to be cooked longer. No one likes a soggy fry.

    Heard the wood fired pizzas were one of the best in Kingston. We decided to try it out. We had a Cesar salad to start and the prosciutto and pear pizza. It was excellent. The martini and Cesaer were great. Our server, Laura, was very attentive, very nice and was a great server. The evening was excellent over all.

    I like the Grizzly Grill. But feb14 dinner with my wife was not a great experience for us there. We waited a hour and 20 mins for our food and both our steaks, we ordered medium rare and they came well done. The waitress was very kind accommodating and helpful.

    My experience there was really bad. There were many things that caused me to be embarrassed that I took my friends there. The table they sat us at looked like it was from a thrift store, the lighting was horrible, my son's beer was skunky, I ordered a club soda and got it in a very small bar glass, didn't order a second one for fear of what it would cost and the menu on the website is not the same as in the restaurant, the meal took an hour to get to our table, the people I brought there from Toronto did not like their meal at all, I felt bad for the waitress, who was dressed very nicely, unlike some of her co-workers. I know I should have spoken to the manager but I was with visitors so didn't take the time. I am going to do a review on social media and will never go there again. It used to be a great restaurant, not any more.

    Although the service was a bit slow as there was a big rush right after we got there, the server apologized and checked in on us often. I think it was a kitchen fault not the server. When the food came it was hot and oh so good! I highly recommend the pull apart garlic cheese loaf it was over the top good! It was a nice evening at the Grizz!!!

    We booked a table for four and we were seated immediately. Atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious. Only downside was the Carvery Board's ribs. They had very little meat on them and were very small. When you bite into a rib it should be juicy and succulent, not these ribs. Avoid the ribs for sure.

    Only two servers service was really slow. Obviously not the service fault that they don't have enough staff but it's very frustrating when you go out to eat and things take like an hour an hour and a half

    Was there to enjoy the evening for New Years Eve and was home before 11 due to the lack of attentive wait staff and poor quality of taste of drink selections. Extremely long wait time between drinks. Owen the initial server was phenomenal with a great personality but when his time was done with us out experience was less then desirable

    Great New Year’s Eve meal. We were impressed by the food and service provided. Our server, Emily, was attentive and helpful. The manager was checking on table and bussing, real team work. We definitely be going again next time we are in Kingston.

    We had enjoyed this restaurant for our anniversary so we decided to go back with another couple. We tried the pizza this time which was very good and we had some to take home for lunch. My hubby’s pasta was tasty and the peach sangria was nice as well. The server was awesome.

    First time back to the Grizzly since covid. The food and the service were excellent. The only thing was the music could be toned down a little...hard to converse without raising our voices. Otherwise a great place to eat.
