The front desk host and waiters were friendly. However, the food was only OK. We ordered two feast dishes and they recommended pasta for kids, which were below average. The choice is limited and it's a bit pricey for the quality of the food.

The food, the atmosphere, the wine list! The Grove never disappoints. We love sitting at the Chef’s station to watch while they prepare the food. This is a not-to-be missed stop in Napa.

Good food, but too pricey. Server took away plates before we were finished which was annoying.

From the second we stepped in, we were kindly greeted. Everyone in the staff was very knowledgeable and gave us information about the school, the restaurant and the food being served. My favorite part was that the chef would go table to table greeting people and answering questions.

Wonderful meal in Napa at The Grove at Copia @ciaatcopia last night.

The meal started off with fried pork ears with kosho mayo (amazing!!). We then had their garden salad with preserved lemons and the Blooming Maitake Mushroom. I am not a big salad person, but I could eat that salad everyday - it was so balanced sweet and sour. And I love fried mushrooms and these were ridiculously good when paired with the spicy mole.

Our entree was one of their ‘feasts’ - the Lamb Shoulder Barbacoa. The lamb was tender and had a very rich sauce, but it was the roasted fennel in z’hug that stole the show for me. The cooling z’hug worked so well with the warm anise flavor of the fennel. The other sides - Anaheim peppers and crispy rice - were also good, though the saffron in the crispy rice kept me from eating it (I did try a little fork full without it resulting in anaphylaxis).

The restaurant itself is very modern, spacious and beautiful and the patio would be a wonderful place for dinner in warmer months. Our waitress, Andrea, was really wonderful, knowledgable about the food and wine options, and very accommodating. I would definitely return for the food and the ambiance - maybe next time when it’s not so chilly.

Overall fantastic dinner and experience! Quality of food is great! One comment we had was speed of food courses. Grove could slow food delivery just a tad - but a minor nit in an otherwise awesome experience.

We had reservations for 7, needed to add 2 more… wandered around the Copia for a bit… great place for it… Herb gardens in front, gift shop and exhibits inside… perfect for our group… dinner was an assortment of appetizers, sides & entrees… shared like it was family style… a great way to start our week of wine tasting…!!!

Staff and food were great. The only issue was there was a wedding reception with loud music that came into the restaurant. It wasn’t even good music, just your basic pop. I would thing with a large building, they could have the reception somewhere else in the building.

We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here. We were given 2 glasses of champagne. Very kind service and delicious food. If I were to do a do over I would want lighter salad dressing. The duck is a little chewy, those lentils were AMAZING.

Lovely and impressive, the staff are all students in training, they work exceptional hard. Great food and a good wine recommendation from the server. You should always make this a”must go to “ place when you come to Napa.

Servers hovered around us. Totally unprofessional. $80 for a plate of lamb fat instead of Barbacoa. Swordfish was overcooked. Just a poor overall experience. Don’t waste your money. I expected more from a CIA establishment

Our meals were variable in quality. My pork chop was excellent as was the salad. My wife's quail was mediocre and the rum a baba was not very good. Prices were reasonable. The ambiance is modern and a little austere. The menu changes frequently.

The Grove was a very nice place to go out and eat in Napa. It was definably a gourmet meal with a blend of different ethnic foods. For example, the duck confit served with a poppadum on a smear of white bean humus was very eclectic and a great appetizer. The restaurant seems to have a strong Turkish influence blended with many other cuisines. The phyllo dessert with melted cheese hit the cheese course and the dessert course at the same time. We had a great time. The menu was a bit limited and I do have friends that would have had a difficult time ordering. If chicken were on the menu it might be helpful. We had the short ribs with Persian rice and it was excellent. Otherwise, I want to try their other dishes and would go back.

While we were looking forward to our experience, the actual dining was sub par. The appetizers fell flat as the chicken nuggets were lacking any real flavor and the sauce provided was very bland.

The main entries were also a disappointment from the standpoint of flavor and cost. For $72 four small pieces of short rib that lacked flavor was a disappointment. One of our party had the pasta which was too heavy and seemed to have too many elements which created a heaviness.

The service seemed rushed despite the lack of patrons in the restaurant and one of the dishes was served without sides which we had to ask for.

In sum I was disappointed in the experience and get bad I suggested the location for our party.

Food was fantastic as was the service. We are locals who have eaten everywhere in the Valley and are way into food and wine. Honestly, the food is as good as anything up here. We ate outside and it was as tranquil as can be with attentive service. Mediterranean with very nuanced and complex flavors. A great wine list by a GM/ Somm who knows his stuff and has a lot of hard to find wines at fair prices. A new favorite in the Valley.

The food was excellent. I recommend the swordfish for 2. The best though was the panna cotta which was THE best we've ever had.
