Chose to go here because of Whoville! It was cute and like the photo op area. Had Dinner downstairs afterwards. Great food and excellent service! A little loud at times but overall a wonderful experience.

Only one waiter was working in our area so it took awhile for him to get back to us. When we received our food, a couple of items were cold, but I only sent one item back. One of the other tables the waiter was serving had about 15 people, so I don’t blame him it was definitely a management issue. The price of the food did not match the service on this occasion.

Overall we have never had a great experience here. Sub should be amazing but is always just subpar. The house seasoning has sugar in it so savory items still have a sweetness to them that is a major turn off. A club sandwich, eggs Benedict, salmon, an appetizer and a cocktail this subpar should not be $180. The price is up there with Ruth’s Chris but the quality is Waffle House.

Been twice in the past and enjoyed the food and had great service. This visit the steak sandwich was extremely fatty and too chewy. They did give a portion off the bill however. The wait staff was unfriendly. Would give it another try but way too pricy for that type of visit.

As always, the food was excellent. Great place, to meet friends. Everyone got their meal except for me. It was at least 15 minutes later. Our waitress was very apologetic and they discounted our bill. Great food, great service, and a great time.

This was our first visit to the HC Tavern. Of all the restaurants in the Huse Group, I would say this is the best. Everything was great. The cocktails were well done, the starters, salads and entres were great. A shout out to our server, Chandler, who was a consummate professional.

Food was terrible. The mashed potatoes with horseradish was over powering with horseradish. Smashbugers are the same as Freddy's but 3 times the cost. Over-priced for what you get.

Everything about our first experience was positive. Reservation was right on time as scheduled. Cocktails were delicious. The food!! Lobster Escargot was amazing! I’d return to just have that and a cocktail. The oysters were fresh and delicious as well. Our entrees were fresh, hot, and worth the money as well as telling others about. Try the Wagyu meatloaf, you will not be disappointed. We will be back and with more people next time to share this experience with. Great value for the money.

The server did a good job. Nothing out of this world, but she was decent. I did ask for a table downstairs and they sat us at a table closest to the front door. And, there were other tables open. That would be my only feedback.
