   We were treated very well, but the food wasn’t as good as expected. My wife had the Greek salad with chicken added and was not fond of it. The chicken was cold and bland, but the veggies were crisp although overly drenched in dressing. My Reuben was good quality but had a bit too much mustard. I also ordered the sweet potato fries and they messed up that order at first. They did correct it and the fries were tasty, but overall I think there are better lunch options. If we do try them again I think we will just go for burgers as they had a few different choices in that regard and may value that more on their menu.

   A concern was raised about a black hair in my food....I am blonde...but nothing was done. I’m disappointed and felt like this incident was ok and not an issue.

   DOES NOT USE OPEN TABLE.... DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HERE. Food is okay. Huge portions, veggie burger is like a thick slab of undercooked paste. Not great. Beer selection is fine, but during busy times service is too chaotic to get more than one or two drink orders in. Probably made worse by ppl showing up thinking they have reservations when they don't. Again, the host told us they no longer use open table, yet it's still on here. We had to wait at the bar for a table and then had a rushed dinner to make our play ontime.

   Made reservations but host said they didn’t have any record of it, if I used the app. App wasn’t working , she said. We asked if we could sit on patio, if there was seating. Host went to check. While waiting, another person came over to tell us that the patio was first come, first serve and that we couldn’t get patio seating if we made a reservation. There was room on the patio but 2nd host said we had to sit inside. Not a warm welcome at all. Our waitress was a very nice girl and diligent worker. 2 individuals in our party ordered the taco salad and both were very disappointed. 3 tortilla chips on a bed of lettuce ( a little cheese , tomato and onion) with a bad citrusy dressing isn’t a taco salad. Needs some serious improvements.

   Our server was great! Very personable! My poke bowl was nice and very fresh. We had a Asian app and it was also good. My mom’s sandwich was full of fat and covered in gravy when the jus should be on the side for dipping. It was not edible. The server tried to say it was because it was organic meat...???? The ladies behind us seemed to have a similar issue with fatty meat in a sandwich. So maybe stick with the Asian fair or vegetarian dishes on the menu?? We loved the outdoor rooftop patio which was fantastic on a perfect day to be outside. It was a nice spot for a pre-theater meal, but the food was “ok” for what it was.

   We ordered the special of the day, "all you can eat Prime Rib which also featured all you can eat caesar salad we had to pay extra to get caesar salad. I was able to fill up on salad only twice. It was served in a bowl not much bigger than a thimble. The prime rib was soso! NOT GOOD VALUE!

    When we arrived and said we had a reservation. They said they don't have access to Open Table reservations but would find us a table. We were seated on the deck at a high table with very heavy, awkward chairs. We weren't asked if we wanted drinks before our meal. We ordered our food and drinks together. I asked for a glass with ice for my cider which came a few minutes after my cider. Our meals were brought out but cutlery and napkins were brought about 5 minutes later. Service was slow and seemed like we were imposing on the staff. Food was okay but nothing special although the pricing was reasonable. Would definitely look for a different place to eat next time I'm in Stratford.

    We were two adults and three children. We ordered from the children’s menu for the two youngest. The five year old got soup and a hummus platter. The soup was spicy and very very salty. Not for a child’s palate. The same with the hummus. The cumin overwhelmed and she refused to eat it. We asked for the 8 year olds’ cheeseburger to have nothing on it. No sauces or vegetables. It came with some kind of sauce. She refused to eat it. They did bring another. My 11 year old grandson son ordered steak and fries. The steak was one quarter fat and gristle. He was still hungry so he got some of the rejected burger. We arrived at 12:30 and did not get our appetizer nachos which were ordered immediately until we’ll after 1:00. The rest of the food was was delivered late as well.

    Great food selection, great draft beer selection (this coming from a non-beer drinker!), our server was friendly and they were able to seat us on the patio even though that we had reservations inside. Noise level was moderate only because there was live music on the patio, which was a plus! Will definitely be back.

    Delicious meal on the outdoor deck. Lots of options (I am a vegetarian) and a friendly, very helpful server. The four of us all enjoyed our meals, and beverages!

    A large open space with outdoor patio (which was full when we were there). Pleasant server. Good size portions. Since we dined early it was quiet however I suspect it gets noisier later in the evening.

    Hi, when we got there, they said they did not accept Open Table Reservations. But, the Hostess was very nice and found us a table at a busy time anyways. She was very polite and professional. As always, the food and service was Fantastic. Great place to go to before a show. Thank you.

    If I remember correctly our servers' name is Rhonda who set the tone perfectly. Food and drink met our expectations and then some. Comfortable ambience. Our corner needed a little more light but otherwise we enjoyed our evening.

    We came from Windsor, to see a play. We ate lunch at the HUB, per googles recommendation!! It was awesome!! The food and atmosphere was perfect!! Great poutine!!!!

    re Bard's: I asked that the fries on my meal bar replaced with salad. The waitress informed me that there would be an "up charge". I agreed and ordered a chef's salad. My meal came with fries. I told the waitress I had ordered no fries and a salad. Another woman appeared and whisked away my meal and returned with it and some salad greens on my plate. I ate my dinner but upon noting that my friend was not charged for her salad greens I complained. The greens I received had no salad dressing or other vegetables like tomatoes. This was not a chef's salad. My friend who had salad greens had dressing on her greens. The other woman appeared and was very nasty. We had to pay the $3 but did not leave a tip as we normally would.     So I had made reservations for 6 pm Sat night. Showed up a few min early. Were told right off the bat that they were expecting a large group (which had nothing to do with us) ok, whatever. We where a group of four sisters. So we were seated and told someone would be by shortly with some water and to take our drink order. My one sister had a headache and was anxious to get her water so she could take something for her headache. The table was dirty. So we waited. Waiters where running around, started serving their "VIP" large group who came in after us and we waited and waited. At least 20 min. No one ever came to our table or even noticed us, so we got up and left. Not impressed. Ended up going to Molly Blooms and had a very delicious dinner and good service.

    I was happy to hear the live musician singing, but annoyed by the canned music playing simultaneously. Eventually, and after a request, they canned the canned music. The variety on the menu suited the many members of our party - vegetarian and carnivore. They have a long list of craft beers, but were short on stock on some - Is this a result of Ford's Buck-A-Beer?

    The system didn’t have my reservation but the hostess was able to find us a table and was very nice about it. Our server let us know right away which items to order that would be quick so we could get to the theater in time. It was really kind and he even engaged in casual conversation with us. The manager (?) was not properly dressed and did not look professional. One of the other servers had sunglasses on her head. For the prices they were charging I thought it was going to be a classier place. Overall I was pleased but it seemed so expensive for what we got.

    Ate here on a Saturday after an afternoon show. Food was good. Service seemed to slow down considerably after we didn't order any alcohol. Ate outside on the roof which was nice, but there was a significant dumpster smell that wafted up from time to time.

    Friendly service. Good food. We sat outside on the patio. Perfect evening. The young female dropping F..bombs 2 tables away from us was not appreciated. She even spoke to one of the server using the same language and I was surprised when the server laughed and thought it was acceptable. However we did not let it ruin our evening. They left and we enjoyed our dinner. We would definitely go back.

    For a quieter experience, The Bard is recommended. The Hub has sports noise. Food far exceeded expectations in this environment. Great lunch option close to the theatre. Decent wine list and lots of beer options.

    We went to the Hub on wing night. Never seen so many types of wings for $0.75!! They were very tasty and so was the beer. Nice setting and very close to the Avalon Theatre. A fun evening!

    Large selection of beers and food was fresh, as I had a Cobb Salad that was very generous in avocado, egg and blue cheese. But, they forgot the dressing. However, the waitress brought me a tiny cup of it when I pointed it out. Patio was nice, but there is one kitchen for two restaurants, so we waited quite a while for our meal. Waitress was apologetic and made sure our drinks were topped up.

    Great location in town in Stratford and a neat looking place. Could be good, but simply isn't. The food was OK. They didn't have half the beer we tried to order from the extensive beer menu and the service was poor. Waitress didn't know the specials and the answers to a couple other questions. Main course came when I was 4 or 5 spoonfuls into my soup. We had to swap out two of four stools for ones that had feet and didn't rock. I saw others doing the same. Too bad. A little care and training and it could be good.
