The Italian was a most enjoyable night for my family to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. The service was welcoming, timely and not overbearing. The restaurant itself is beautifully appointed. The noise level was a little loud but that was due to the amount of patrons. We had a wonderful dinner and the Italian recognized my husband's birthday with complimentary dessert for the table. The only critique I have is that there was no bread for the table, nor did any come with our entrees. As well, the prices are very steep and make it hard to come to the Italian more frequently than just on a special occasion.

I have dined at the Italian Osteria several times and it has always been very good. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, huge portion and very good. My friend had the lasagna which was also very good. Meals come with a salad as well. It was my birthday and Emily (our waitress) brought us a fabulous complimentary dessert. It was amazing. Special mention to our server Emily who was absolutely excellent!

At our dinner last night, the salad was old, we waited 40 minutes for our dinner, which arrived cold. The server I believe forgot about us. Until we went to try and find somebody so we could pay our bill .

Such an awesome spot. Food is amazing and our server was so lovely. It was our anniversary and we claimed the free bubbles & dessert through JRG. We always come here on special occasions! Truffle Mushroom pasta & Pesto Prawn Pesto & The Beehive Pizza are so good. They also usually provide a complimentary salad, which is a nice touch when you’re super hungry! Definitely recommend.

I went for my birthday dinner with my best friend & right off the bat, the staff made me feel so welcome & special. They gave me a cute little birthday card when they sat us, and the server immediately wished me a happy birthday. Our server was so great! And then they gave me a DELICIOUS birthday dessert to top it all off! It was so great!

The food was amazing although the menu is getting a little pricey due to inflation. Primarily the pasta, the pizza is still a reasonable price. If you are going during dinner time expect it to be very loud, probably a lot quieter if you go for a late lunch or a late dinner closer to closing.

It was our first time: It was dark in there and noisier than I would of liked to be. However, Our server Rikki was amazing, the food was outstanding and overall service was very prompt and professional. Pizza crust was so tough it had to be cut with a knife and difficult to chew. The server came to take our order. She delivered drinks and appetizers and then the meal ... but we never saw her again until we were ready to leave. She never asked how our food was and never bothered to refill our drinks. It was also so noisy that we had difficulty even hearing each other. We won't be going back, it was a terrible yet expensive experience! I've shared this review on both Yelp and Google Reviews.

The complimentary salad for us 4 adults was so small, not even comparable to what you get at the olive garden! I liked my lasagna and my son liked his gnocchi, however my other son thought his pizza was very plain and didn't taste good as well as his girlfriend had to send her chicken parm. back to the kitchen as she said it was dry!

Our server was fantastic. The food was really good, the Dont tell Nonna pizza yummy. The bruschetta was delish. Highly recommend the sangrias. Hubby said beer was so nice and cold. The only thing, is that it is quite loud in there. It’s not a bad thing, just loud. We will definitely come again for the service and the food

I find the prices are a bit high but I guess you are paying for the ambiance too which was great. Beautiful restaurant and love the care taken in dish preparation. Our server was very attentive, refilled the water glasses several times which is really nice. Thank you for the enjoyable evening.

Great food, service was a little slow but our reservation was at peak time on a weekend. I guess that might be expected but you would hope they would staff for that. The restaurant is NOISY. Got to be okay with that. Also, I wish they would print their menu in a larger font, it is virtually impossible to read in normal light let alone the dim lighting of a restaurant. I’m told the servers hear this complaint regularly and have passed it on to management but with no success. I’ve eaten here many times and will come back again despite the challenges described because there just isn’t a better pasta joint anywhere this side of the Fraser river.
