We did evening dining as a date night and really enjoyed our experience. Service was excellent which I think is very important. Food was of a high standard with some beautifully presented meals (black shell is a show stopper). It was pleasing to see that prices were not vastly inflated and actual good value for money.

From start to finish the ivy asia experience is always outstanding. From the door being opened for you on arrival to the door being opened for you when you leave. One of the best dining experiences you will find anywhere in the country. Our server was called chelsea and her knowledge and understanding of the menu was exceptional, she recommended several starter, main and desserts and also had a fantastic understanding of the wine and drinks menu. She made recommendations for both food and drinks that we couldn't say no to and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and we couldn't find fault with anything we ate, the attention to detail and presentation is amazing. We truly hope to see chelsea again the next time we visit, a true credit to the ivy collection.

The food was good but not as amazing as led to believe , although was freshly cooked . Service let them down as our waitress went on her break then we were forgotten which ruined our meal so did not stay for dessert

Service was incredibly slow. We had to ask for drinks numerous times, and one of the drinks was put on our table when we were leaving when it was ordered during main courses.

Had a set menu which was very good. Crisps to start were a bit weak but certainly got a lot better with great fish and beef dishes. Would recommend as is a great venue with great decor and atmosphere

We were told the table wasn't ready and taken to thd bar. However, there was only 1 seat available. As my husband is disabled and on crutches I stood. The wait was 30 minutes. During which time we received no update or communication from any of the staff. We were having an anniversary meal at 6pm, with the plans for later in the evening. The delay meant we couldn't relax after our meal and have a coffee etc.

My drink was flat. Waited over 1 hour for the replacement. We order starters at first but they food didn’t come out for over an hour and forgot one of the dishes so wasn’t tempted to try mains. Waiters didn’t ask if we wanted to order anything else anyway (mains) disappointing experience.

We booked afternoon tea for a birthday celebration. We arrived on time but waited 30 minutes at the bar for our table to be ready. This meant we felt obliged to buy extra drinks. The service was great and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The afternoon tea was disappointing. I could have bought the items from M&S rather than spending £60. There was nothing outstanding about the food.

I expected this to be a much better experience. The decor was tired, particularly in the washrooms. The service wasn't up to the standard expected, we had to call over our server on several occasions because she wasn't very attentive, plus food was being served before the previous dishes had been collected and the dirty dishes were still left on the table. The food was good but one dish tasted as if it had been burnt. Maybe we were just unlucky but it wasn't what we expected from a supposed 5* establishment.

We were rushed out of the door and were not told at any time that there was a time limit on the table. After spending almost £400, to be hurried away spoilt the experience

Our initial waiter, whose name we failed to gain, would not listen to, and upset, my wife by refusing to comply with her instructions. Our second waiter, whose name is Oliver, together with two waitresses were excellent. Polite, informative and entertaining.

Some food was tasty, others bland and quite expensive for what you get. Very slow on drink service, the waitress would start to clear the table then disappear for 20 minutes. I have visited a few times and sadly I think this will be my last. Lovely decor.

Cocktails a bit slow .. expected prior to eating. Savoury food fabulous but soft ice cream, a bit of fruit, popping candy and donuts was not what expected and let whole meal down .. it’s not a 5 year olds birthday party! Service delightful and exceptional.
