   Used a gift voucher for afternoon tea. Glad we didn’t pay the £29 EACH for 3 finger sandwiches and a small pot of tea. Minimal sized scones and amount of cream and jam. On the plus side the red velvet cupcake each were lovely. As was the choc mousse with popping candy. Still not worth the money NOR THE ASSUMED 12% SERVICE CHARGE. Always makes it a difficult conversation to have it removed. Not great.

   We have now been to several ivy restaurants And to be honest Yesterday in bath wasn’t the best ! No atmosphere , staff looked tired! The floor was filthy and for £80 for tea was expensive for what we had. Two glasses of champagne which were poured without us seeing, so this could well have been Prosecco, maybe would have been nice to have been asked if we would like any more! Tea, no decaf tea ! Only fruit tea, which I do not drink, the first pot I had 3 cups from the second only 1 and a dribble. There was also a hen day group sat near us and they waited for over 10 mins for the bill to arrive as soon as it do the waitress was asking for payment We had no goodbye, Thankyou for coming, on arrival No “ how has your day been” Name! Picked up the menu and that what it This was a gift and because it was also a our anniversary we thought let’s make it a special event! We could have been in a Tesco cafe having tea and cake, and yes, decaf !

   This was our second visit to the Ivy in Bath. We found that everything was amazing like the first time we was there. We could not fault the food the staff or the restaurant itself. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. It was a fabulous treat on my birthday. Many thanks to all of the amazing staff for making our visit feel special.

   Would HIGHLY RECCOMEND the ivy for afternoon tea....nothing was to much trouble...the tea and cakes were amazing light and fluffy cakes and sandwiches were fresh not over powering in flavour...just right.

   Food was really good, service was really good, a few things let it down a bit unfortunately, there lots of fruit flies in the dining room, the toilet was covered in brown poo stained limescale and the toilet roll holder was hanging of the wall.

    An absolutely fantastic evening, the staff couldn't do enough to make our special evening just perfect. The food was a tastebud sensation and the drinks on the roof terrace afterwards was the icing on the cake. Thanks for making a It was an evening to remember.

    Adorable location, terribly long wait for the food. Shareables were delicious, and 3/5 entrees were worth coming out to visit. The bathrooms were clean but the table was dirty and had a couple hairs that needed to be cleaned off. Overall, if in the area, I'd visit again given that I have enough time to wait for the food to come out.

    Service was great, unfortunately there wasn’t a huge choice for myself as someone who’s GF. Although there was a lot of care and attention to make sure I was able to find something and they made adjustments where possible. what I did have was really lovely. Was a nice experience.     We had the Afternoon Tea. The food was top quality, a good variety and very nicely presented. It was plentiful for us. The staff were very attentive, .very pleasant and helpful. The ambiance was very pleasing and comfortable. In all a very pleasant experience which we would like to repeat in the near future.

    Slightly disappointed in our dining experience. The menu changes are very confusing - we had five different ones - too much! The main a la carte menu has a new Asian section in which we found our favourite (tempura prawns) after going through the various options. The food was good but not as outstanding as in previous visits. Overall a nice experience but not special. We'll try again.

    As always the food and especially the level of service was outstanding, the food service staff are so well trained, kind and very attentive. I always book a table at The Ivy if there is one in the town/city I am visiting.

    Disappointing. Air con caused such a draft, even when asked to turn it off/down. Eventually it was turned off. Found the service very slow. Food when it finally arrived was not hot. For an establishment as this, very disappointing. Have been here on numerous occasions, but this night was not a good experience

    Superb service throughout from being greeted at the door to leaving after the meal. Service is attentive without being intrusive, ambience of the restaurant is excellent and comfortable, able to happily chat and not feel you should be whispering. The serving team know their menu and offer good recommendations and advise if you want it, at no time are you made to feel rushed, everything moves at a comfortable pace. The food was, as you would expect, amazing. Flavours that work, well seasoned, beautifully presented without being overly fussed - this is quality dining. Pricing is excellent value - it’s not cheap, but it is excellent value. You get what you are paying for. Will be going back. Often!

    Great ambience with nice food. Waiter service very good and friendly. Food and drinks menu varied with something to please everyone. One of my wife’s favourite restaurants so we go every once in a while. I usually have the ribeye and it never disappoints. The house champagne wasn’t available this time but the Chandon was s as nice replacement. The sommelier spilt some when opening the bottle but gave us a free replacement glass as a top up so no harm done and a very nice touch. Bath Spa has a good range of quality restaurants to choose from including the Ivy. The Ivy however is consistently good for dinner so well worth a visit.

    Lots of little tiny flies , just put us off the whole experience . They where landing on the table , plates and food , just not good at all. This was for my daughters 16th birthday which I mentioned when I booked , nothing mentioned to her to make her feel special .

    No problem with the venue, service or food. Confusion when we were presented with a large bill at the end even though we had a voucher. The waitress didn’t check our voucher and served us afternoon tea instead of a cream tea. (We weren’t offered this option) The manager did reduce the bill but we still had to pay an extra £30. So although the actual service was good overall this was quite annoying. Didn’t want to argue about it too much as didn’t want it to spoil a lovely experience.

    We were given a champagne 3 course dinner voucher (£140) for our silver wedding anniversary. We mentioned this to the waitress when we sat down we then had the full menus snatched off us and a smaller menu presented. Very much felt like we were worthless as we had a voucher and not valued customers despite the cost of the voucher. The choices on the smaller menu was varied and appealing and the food was absolutely excellent. The nicest duck salad and monkfish curry I’ve had. Tasted very fresh with lovely flavours. Unfortunately the evening ended as it started and when we asked for the bill they tried to charge us for the puddings - which were specifically included. All in all abit crap I won’t go again despite the fantastic food.
