Really lovely service, the man who was looking after us was pleasant! Food was delicious!! Loved my pancakes so much! And the eggs Benedict my friend had was so tasty too (I had to try theirs) Lovely little birthday treat at the end as well :))

We visited the Ivy Cardiff to celebrate my 60th birthday with family. Our table was on the first floor next to the window overlooking the Hayes. The decor is fabulous and opulent. Or waiter was wonderful , polite and very attentive and made my special meal extremely enjoyable. The food was delicious and the service second to none. We all enjoyed the subdued piped jazz music which enhanced the ambience. Can’t wait to visit again.

We surprised my daughter for her birthday and from the off the staff and service were outstanding. I honestly thought it would be too "posh" for us, but everyone was so down to earth and welcoming. We all enjoyed, the food was beautiful and my daughter loved the little cake gesture afterwards. I cannot say more about the staff, thank you so much!

As always The Ivy comes up trumps. This time we went for breakfast. Lovely menu, plenty of choice. We had the full English including toast, it was beautiful and filling. Worth a visit whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Good value for money as always!!

I would certainly recommend The Ivy Cardiff. Our dining experience was perfect in every aspect. The food was divine and the set menu was good value for money. The drinks were stunning if a bit expensive! The ambience was perfect for us as we wanted a quiet meal for our wedding anniversary so we dined upstairs and there was a very lovely small wedding party next to us. It was so nice to see the newly weds so happy. The Ivy was perfect for them too. Overall a wonderful afternoon but it was made even more special by the lovely wedding anniversary dessert. This extra touch meant a lot 💕 I must give a special shout out to the very polite staff but especially our very attentive waiter - what an asset to The Ivy he is !!!

Our experience was outstanding, the 3 of us had fillet steak. It was amazing taste, it cut like butter, and so tender. We had desert afterwards.2 had the chocolate bombe, the other diner had Crem brulé. All were delicious. We would go back again.

Very nice meal with excellent service. One point the advertised Crème brûlée on the menu was a Crème catalan. There is a difference, I was expecting a brûlée with solid caramel top to break and creamy custard, not a soft top with a less rich filling.

Lovely atmosphere but we felt rushed and my choice of food wasn’t the best . I had the bang bang salad and it didn’t meet expectations. My starter, on the other hand was delicious. I had the Salmon roulade. But just to finish the staff were friendly , respectful at all times.

Tuesday night in half term, busy with a good vibe. I ordered off the set menu, white onion soup which was delicious and the risotto which equally was. My husband had the steak Tartare which was so tasty and the chicken Milanaise. Superb food and wine. Love the place

Absolutely beautiful meal. Our server was so pleasant and patient, waiting for myself, my mother and brother to decide on what meal to have. We finally chose and funnily enough all ended up having the same . The one minute steak, plentiful for a lunch time meal. As it was a treat for my 60th birthday, which was last September, but I'll health had stopped us from going out, we had the chocolate bomb for dessert. Wow, that was delicious too, I totally overindulged. The only disappointing part was, as I have cancer and poor mobility and am using crutches, when it came to using the restroom, the lift was broken. Ok, yes it does happen and can't be helped, but after spending 2 hours having our beautiful lunch and the restrooms upstairs, which I have no way of walking the stairs, I was in a lot of discomfort by the end. That was the only downside and like I said, these mechanical things can't be helped. All in all, a beautiful place, stunning food and wonderful staff. Thank you.

Menu had changed the day we went. Most of us decided to have the fish and chips, no fish had been delivered that day. Not a lot on the menu.
