   Good atmosphere. Great food. Service attentive but not intrusive. Food was tasty, great quality and timings of dishes was good. Amazing considering our table was booked at very busy time (Saturday at 8:15 pm) Looking forward to visiting again.

   As always this is such an awesome experience in dining. Opted for the set menu with a few extras. Bang Bang salad starter is a must and our choice was steak with hens egg and chips. Salt crusted bread, olives, champagne glass and bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Maria, as always, made the experience even more special, she is the most amazing lady and second to none in her position. Bartenders are friendly and tend to your drink needs with no hesitation. Can’t wait to return. Thank you to all x

   Thank you so much ,we were celebrating mother's day a day early as we had commitments today . The meal ,seating area was fantastic but to top it off the service was top class . We can't remember the name of young lady who served us but she was amazing . Overall a fantastic day .

   We have been to the Ivy restaurant in Cardiff, several times for breakfast, every time has been a lovely experience. The whole ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. The menus are excellent, as are the staff, who are very professional, helpful and friendly. The dining area is well set out and has comfortable seating. Would definitely recommend.

    Really enjoyed our meal, it was excellent! The waitress who served us was very good, she was a credit to the Ivy, as all your staff are! We’ve been there numerous times and always had lovely time! Will be back again in a few weeks with grandchildren, for brunch…..can’t wait! Our friends/family always give us vouchers for your restaurant, what more could we ask for 🥰

    Told waiter we wanted tap water and they brought a bottle of still water asked for 1 white wine and 1 white wine and lemonade and they brought 2 of the latter. The vegetarian burger was very chewy.

    This is my second time visiting the Ivy. Again an amazing experience from start to finish. Food was amazing as was our wine. The attention given by staff made us feel very special so thank you all. We where seated upstairs the room was stunning. Cannot thank the staff enough. My next visit will be in a few months time with my grandaughter…

    The service, surroundings and food was second to none everything was excellent . We had a lovely meal and we’re looked after by those serving us. Staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fab night.

    I was so disappointed not to be able to dine with you yesterday, I was really looking forward to it. We arrived in high spirits and were told on the door that we wouldn’t be allowed any alcohol with our meal. We were certainly not drunk by any means - I actually hadn’t had any drinks - and I was really looking forward to a nice bottle of wine with our meal. Your staff inside were charming and the ambience was great, it was just such a shame that you chose to do this. We had come a long way and had heard great things about you. Very disappointed.

    We booked brunch at the bar on rugby match day. Despite the busy day, we were looked after as if we were the only diners present. The food was brilliant. The “powder room” was quite spectacular. Highly recommend!

    The decor and ambience are absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly personable but unfortunately my order was wrong twice. I requested white toast and was given granary. This was immediately rectified. I ordered earl grey and received breakfast tea. Then with our bill we were charged for three meals although only two had eaten. A disappointing experience sadly as we were really excited to visit.

    Booked early for theatre only to have to wait 40mins for our table. Reception staff did not engage well or make us feel welcomed. Having explained our time concerns we were left having to rush an incomplete meal. Reservation made months in advance so very disappointed. I gave the Ivy an opportunity to respond to this review but have heard nothing back. Design is wonderful but style over substance is not worth the unvalued feel we left with.

    Meal was fine. Service good. Despite requesting a table at the back of the restaurant when we booked we were seated at the front and had to ask to move. The chap who moved us did so with little grace, despite my explaining to him that because of a hearing loss I really prefer to be somewhere quiet. He pointed out to me that they can’t guarantee table location - maybe not, but when I book months in advance and have a genuine reason to make the request I think they could attempt to meet it. We flagged that it was a birthday. No gesture of birthday dessert and I did check, and yes, it was written on our booking notes. All a bit flat. I think we’ll be looking elsewhere in the future. Too much of a production line atm.

    Advertised set price menu not available. Service was a little brusque. Food and ambience excellent. Two glasses of champagne delivered to table which we hadn’t ordered but we’re allowed to drink without charge.
