   My sister bought me this Champagne afternoon tea for my 70th birthday My sister had been before & said how nice it was so it was on my list to try & it lived up to my expectations, what a lovely touch when they brought the cake stand and proceeded to pour water into the middle decoration, smoke came puffing out, so spectacular. Would definitely recommend for any occasion.

   We came to celebrate my daughters 23rd birthday and we were looked after by the very lovely Tenesha & May (?). We always seem to have Tenesha looking after us whenever we visit the Ivy to celebrate and she even remembered us and where we had sat on previous visits. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the Ivy team and the food was amazing too. Loved the birthday treat for Luci too. Thank you! :-)

   My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice meal for our wedding anniversary - we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and a pleasant gap between courses as to not feel rushed. The restaurant itself is stunning with an eclectic decor ( the ladies are a sight to behold ). All the waiting staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. A very enjoyable lunch and we will be returning

   The food was lovely, the only downside was there was a long delay between mains and dessert, we felt rushed by the staff at the end of the meal as they said the table was needed in 5 mins for the booking. This could have been avoided if the desserts had been quicker.

   The Ivy is a place for occasions, for feeling a bit of luxury and the building ambience is lovely. The food is outstanding but not necessarily to everybody's tastes/slightly limiting. (the only reason not not described as outstanding)

    I just want to say a massive thank you to all of the staff especially Luke & Alex for being so lovely and attentive. It was mine and my mums first ever time at the Ivy and we were so pleased with the service and the incredible food. Can’t thank them all enough and we will definitely be returning!

    Fabulous nice place to celebrate an occasion . Lovely food as always particularly loved the Asian Monk Fish and Prawn curry and it was nice to be able to mash the two menu’s in one restaurant 💕

    Absolutely amazing! We were early and they kindly let us sit at our table and have a drink whilst we waited. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. Our afternoon tea was delicious. Perfectly balanced between sweet and savoury. It was just enough! Would highly recommend! And we’ll definitely be back soon.

    Great food and value. Service mostly excellent but as the meal progressed it was difficult to attract anyone’s attention. We had to make the running to request a bill. Please give more attention to diners. I really did not welcome a text chasing our arrival 7 minutes after our table time. I had confirmed 24 hours earlier we were coming and had amended the table for 2 to a table for 3.

    Love service and lovely food as always! Especially the dessert (we had the crème brûlée and the chocolate bomb). The sharing plates for the tables were also very reasonably priced!

    Afternoon tea was lovely especially the dry ice smoking in a pot when brought over. Was a little disappointed with the scones as were a bit over cooked and not quite enough filling in the chicken sandwich but being picky. Lovely atmosphere and a lovely interior. We really liked our waiter who was very friendly and attentive.

    We enjoy coming to The Ivy but this visit was a little disappointing from what we have come to expect. On booking I requested a booth and whilst we were given a lovely table it was not a booth - the front of house didn’t mention it was a better table / booths were fully booked so it felt that our preferences were just ignored. The table was one I would take again though!!! After ordering all the food arrived apart from my breakfast and my son had practically eaten 3/4 of his before I had started. The waitress did apologise for the delay but there wasn’t the offer of any compensation (eg. A drink on the house) which would have been the sort of service you would have expected from The Ivy. Once I had started my meal one of the poached egg yolks seemed burnt (I like my eggs well cooked, but this was inedible) so I left that on my plate. Lucky the portions for me were a good size so it didn’t really matter…so I didn’t make a fuss at the time. We did still enjoy everything but just felt things weren’t up to their usual standards. 🙂

    We were celebrating our sons 26th Birthday and had a great evening of wonderful food presented exquisitely in an impressive room full of atmosphere and decadence.     Fantastic food and first class service. We were really well looked after during our entire meal. The service is slick and we never had to wait. The latter part was slightly ruined by a very loud customer at the next table but that wasn’t the fault of the restaurant! It was the perfect location for my husband’s birthday.
