   We were celebrating our sons 26th Birthday and had a great evening of wonderful food presented exquisitely in an impressive room full of atmosphere and decadence. The staff were perfection in their approach to caring for our every need. Wines lovely and portion size perfect for full enjoyment and feeling well fed !

   I had gift vouchers for my birthday. The service was fantastic. The food was beautifully presented and the flavours of the food was amazing. An overall nice ambiance on a warm Sunday afternoon. Décor was beautiful.

   Fantastic food and first class service. We were really well looked after during our entire meal. The service is slick and we never had to wait. The latter part was slightly ruined by a very loud customer at the next table but that wasn’t the fault of the restaurant! It was the perfect location for my husband’s birthday.

   Great service from all staff, everyone was very friendly & helpful. The food was excellent and well presented. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary - the complimentary desert was very much appreciated. Thank you for making our evening that extra bit special. 5 stars well deserved.

    Our booking was at 8.00 and we were late. We were welcomed by the team and taken to our table. Henry served us. He was exceptional. Not just for our party but for everyone he was serving. He was professional and personal. The addition of ‘Asia’ food was a welcome surprise. Based on this visit, the Ivy has raised its game.

    The only pint which was disappointing was once we had desert we were ignored for 30 minutes before waving someone down for the third time and actually getting the bill. I noticed the staff wait hand and foot on some tables but this was not the case on mine so that was quite disappointing

    Anniversary meal & our 3rd visit to The Ivy Brasserie. Eaten in The Orangery previously but in the main restaurant this time. Not the best table, against a pillar, but understandable as only 2 of us dining. The (Spanish?) Lady who looked after us was welcoming, friendly & attentive. Food was amazing! Stars for us were the cheese souffle with basil oil & pine nuts and the salt & pepper tempura squid with wasabi mayonnaise starters and, although quite pricey, the rib eye steak which I didn't want to end. Oh and complimentary profiteroles as our anniversary! Thank you once again The Ivy, you didn't disappoint. Dom & Michelle

    Overall a good evening was had, food was delicious and service attentive. One small criticism the beer glasses were heavy chunky ones more befitting the local drinking pub. We put our beers into the wine glasses on the table they were just right

    Afternoon tea: good selection, tasty enough. Service: really rather poor. Had to ask for plates and cutlery. Had to catch waitress/waiter's eye numerous times because we were just being ignored. One of us asked to swap out something for just her, they swapped it out for both of us. Cling film in the jam. Didn't get tea until we were more than half way done. Ambience/noise: lots of loud staff. Too many fake flowers! Would prefer real plants, not cut flowers because of sustainability, or nothing at all.

    A lovely eating-out experience as it’s such a sumptuous environment. The staff were lovely but not very attentive! We had to keep craning to catch someone’s eye to ask; if we could order/have the bill/pay.

    Went here for my anniversary on 19/05. We had been here before and had great food so were looking forward to it. My wife originally ordered chicken when we cut into was pink and bloody all the way though. I had steak which tasted like it had been left out for quite some time. Both were sent back. A manager came out and told us the chicken had been tested and was at the right temperature however still does not explain why it was pink not just slightly in one place but all the way through. We then picked something else and I gave them the opportunity to do a different steak which then came out quite dry, certainly not worth a £38 cut of meat & my wife had fish and chips which the fish was completely soggy and dripping in oil so my wife couldn’t eat it. They did take off the money for just the fish but still ended up paying £100 when we essentially just ate chips and a drink. Very dissatisfied & disappointed.
