   Went to the keep before a show at the Palace. The food was good, the drinks (not really a drinker but liked what I got). Our server was great too! Highly recommend

   Delicious as always! And, they were sensitive to us going to a show. Service from the bartenders (Mike and Marius), to the host and our server was beyond expectations!

   At first we were a little uncertain when we were seated with paper menus. We ended up loving all the food and would definitely recommend and will return in the future. For such a limited menu, we were extremely satisfied with how great the food turned out.

    At the bar, it took 40 min to get a charcuterie board. We think they gave ours away to someone else. Service was terrible there. In the dining room, service was very good. Food was ok.

    This restaurant was just OK. Our server forgot an item and seemed to be one of the only servers with many tables. Had to ask for water a few times.

    The Keep is a glorified hotel lobby bar and restaurant. The menu was small, over priced and lacked the creativity and flavor that would warrant such a cost. There are too many other great restaurants in Columbus (many within walking distance of The Keep) to waste a night out here.

    It felt as if the server was just going through the motions. Did not want to be there. Food came, my scallops were under cooked, plate inedible. The server did not come back to check on us until my partner was finished with his meal. Server took the dish off of our bill, but I still left hungry and unsatisfied.

    Our server did a nice job and the kitchen prepared tasty meals but the table behind was loud and the heating & cooling system was malfunctioning blowing cool air to the point my wife put her coat back on while we eat lukewarm food.

    Went here for husband’s 40th birthday. Was surprised by how understaffed and slow this restaurant was. Food was very tasty but portions didn’t support the price… received only two scallops in a scallops & pork belly risotto dish? They were fine but for $34? Lovely space and historic icon of a building but I expected a lot more from the service and execution of what is supposed to be a fine dining experience

    The worst dinner in a very long time. Both the soups and one of the entrees was cold, not warm, cold! Service was just below average, but could.not make up for the poor food. Will never go back.

    Service was far below expectations for price. Bad, slow, sloppy service like you’d expect at a greasy dinner. The mediocre, slow-to-the table cocktails were a disappointment. Meal was not much better; mid-level food quality with limited creativity and flavor. All this with top-end, top-tier prices. Bathrooms were dirty on top of all the other mess of this place. I want to like this place. Returned after underwhelming experiences several months. It got worse, not better. Waste of a beautiful space and building.

    Food took 50 mins, steak was undercooked, and everything overall was quite bland/under seasoned. Server was friendly and apologetic about the delay, but I do not think we’ll return. Too many better restaurants in Columbus.

    I took my sister out for her birthday, and I was really excited to eat at this fancy restaurant in The Leveque Tower. It was very disappointing. I had the shrimp cocktail with coleslaw. I took one bite of the coleslaw and literally had to spit it out in my hand. It was that bad I could not swallow it. My sister had the cheeseburger and fries, which were very good according to her. The waitress was nice, but they were not busy at all, and she was very slow to come to the table, the bill was $53 for basically a cheeseburger and some shrimp which I would not have mind paying if the ambience was what I expected but it was like going to a small diner with no atmosphere. I will definitely not be going back to the keep.

    While I understand it’s restaurant week, none of our food came warm. The macaroni and cheese was grainy, The steak was overcooked and our crème brûlée had split. Plus, we waited for over 45 minutes for a single round of cocktails for 2 people, just for the bar to be out of one of them..and needed to wait another 15 min for the replacement. Overall, this place has potential but was a real let down. Was also my husbands 37th Birthday and I noted that in the reservation. They never mentioned it and could care less. Do NOT recommend.

    Our reservation was for 10:30am, and we were immediately told that because it’s Christmas morning it was brunch only. There were only two scoops of soggy eggs, a few crumbles of bacon and a basket of dried pastries. Our server was phenomenal, but we would have had a better brunch at Waffle House. Disappointing doesn’t begin to describe the start to our day!

    I was excited to see that The Keep was open for Christmas Brunch . . . but it was very underwhelming. We had the option of scrambled eggs or french toast from a buffet, bacon and potatoes. And a 3 types of (what tasted like) store-bought donut holes /pastry items. Having been at an Easter Brunch there previously, my expectations were MUCH MUCH higher. Such a disappointment!

    Awful. I called on 12/23 to ask what was on the special Christmas Eve menu. I was told that it was a buffet with stations for roast turkey, honey baked ham, and prime rib. Arrived to find out that it was not a buffet but a choice of gnocchi, salmon, or prime rib, all of which came with the same sides. Who wants gnocchi with a side of stuffing? Everyone's food was cold, not warm, actually cold. The service was bad too. They were out of ginger ale and out of all bottled beers. An alarm kept going off telling us to evacuate the building, which the staff said to just ignore. To end the night, we were told to not go down the stairs because it was too wet. We walked through the bar in an inch of standing water to get to the hotel elevator. Worst Christmas Eve dinner ever!

    I’ve been there multiple times for holidays and I was very disappointed in my mail. I had the prime rib and I was told it would be medium rare and it was well done the desserts look like they were pre-bought and not homemade the price per person was appropriate. I was just disappointed in the overall quality of food. I don’t know if they have a new chef, but I will not be going back next year.

    EXTREMELY LET DOWN- I’ve been to The Keep at least 10 times and brought my family from out of town here as a special treat before seeing The Nutcracker. Frankly, I was appalled at how the quality has plummeted. First, there was a very limited menu available - without warning - because of “how busy they get before the nutcracker”. By limited I mean approximately 10 total items - including appetizers. The dinner entrees were extremely boring - 2 uninteresting salads, a burger, a chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese and steak frites. Aside from the steak, this could have been a Bob Evans menu in terms of variety. We got the charcuterie appetizer to start. It had tiny pieces of rather dry (as in old and shriveled) cheese - none of it tasted good- and even the handful of grapes were soft. One of the meats had brown spots on it like it has been on the slate serving plate for 2 days. Totally not worth $26! Or even 6$. Then I had the house salad. Which was a big pile of lettuces with 4 pecan halves and about 3 small slices of pear (or maybe apple - it was hard to tell) on top and a few whiskers of red onion in the middle, with a very thin and tasteless creamy dressing on the side. I had to order a separate piece of salmon to add to it to turn it into something edible, but the salmon was baaaarrely cooked through, and rather flavorless. Sigh. My family member got the soup of the day which was a small bowl of beef chili that had the consistency of drywall sparkling paste. It had some cornbread on the side that was literally rock hard. At least my daughter’s steak frites was ok. Thank goodness we orders the cheesecake for dessert. It was 1000xs better than anything else we got. So for 177.00 including tip, I felt very cheated. Too bad - I used to love this place and had even been about a month ago (and got the duck - which was terrific). If you want to risk going to The Keep, consider waiting a while for them to get this mess straightened out

    Party of 6 with reservation for lunch at noon. Only one other table of two was occupied. Our server was prompt with beverages, but then didn't come take our order for a long time. I suppose it was because the cooks had not shown up yet. Two arrived about 12:15. The food itself was good, but I was surprised that they were not staffed and ready to go by lunch time.
