Food was amazing - hot and served very quickly. Overall service was good, could have been a little more attentive to drinks. Unfortunately the table I was at was very close to another one and the other guests were very loud with lots of swearing going on.

Overall the food was v good. Bread was warm- would prefer plain butter over garlic. Baked garlic shrimp could be baked a bit longer. Steaks were great. Onion rings just ok. Beer was cold. Ambiance fine. Service good. Thanks.

My wife’s food she loved, but my food seem to have been sitting way too long under the heat lamp as everything was burnt. Very surprised that it was let out of the kitchen. Literally black burnt.. veggie were so burnt I had to look twice to see what was. Ring service. Stake was done great but the rest not good at all..

Yes, it’s a beautiful restaurant with good food. I’ve noticed your prices have gone up probably 20% which is not favorable for your clientele. Overall everything else was great. Our waitress was fantastic. The food was good. My buddy Brian bought so that made the food taste a little better.

The welcome we received as we arrived was fantastic. Very friendly. We were seated quickly and our wait staff arrived soon after. Our drink order was taken and our drinks arrived in great time. Food order was taken and arrived correctly, quickly and hot and tasted fantastic. For the 6 of us, all was top notch. Great experience and a great night out with friends

Usually our experience at the Halifax Keg is exceptional. Unfortunately after getting our drinks, we seen a mouse run across the floor next to our table. Which made me uncomfortable for the rest of the visit. Our sides were mixed up when the food arrived. the broccoli looked like it was pan fried, burnt and not cooked. Not impressed with this visit.

My family visited Halifax location for my daughters 12th birthday. Chris our server was fantastic. Everything was cooked to perfection. I has a number of bad experiences at other locations in the past but this one has redeemed my confidence in the brand. Staff matter a lot and with Chris you have a great one.

Service was very good, tables are far enough apart for privacy and quiet. Food: Prime rib was absolutely perfect, wine and non-alcoholic beverage selection as great, wedge salad was perfect too with loads of blue cheese. Sautéed mushrooms were also delish, but only smallish 8 pieces (per person) of mushroom were on our plates. We were however disappointed with our stuffed baked potatoes as they were entirely black burnt on the top. They were fine underneath, but really should not have been served that visibly burnt. All in all, happy to go back any time, and will recommend to others.

The Keg is our go-to restaurant in Halifax. Our meal last night was so good! Tasty steak cooked to perfection, delicious twice-baked potatoes and veggies. We’re accustomed to a great meal at the Keg but the service and interesting conversation provided by our server, Eric, raised it to another level.

My husband is immune-compromised so when booking a reservation, I asked for a table set apart from other diners. When we arrived, the location couldn't have been more perfect - thank you, Keg staff! That considerate touch made his birthday celebration very relaxed and enjoyable. Chris, our server, was outstanding and went out of his way to oblige us in any way he could. One suggestion: although the beets were cooked well, the broccoli was very underdone - almost raw. Everything else, however, was excellent - and the free slice of Billy Miner pie was much appreciated.

Keg burger -bread and butter pickles doesn’t make sense. The prime rib was good but tasteless even with the jus, the horse radish was extremely strong and bitter, the kids steak for $22 is the same as menu steak $33, not much difference. Caesar salad awesome. Over rated and over priced

Food is always cooked to order, hot and well with your money. Our server was very attentive and recommended wine with taste testers. Greta place to celebrate a birthday and they give you the best cake ever that’s great for sharing.

I feel the value is not there. Uninteresting wine selections, steak was overcooked. I make better broccoli at home. Prices are up there in line with places that have superior product. Very disappointed.
