The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Market Mall
The initial problem was we had a reservation for 7 didn't get in until 7:25 The manager was great came around to apologize for the wait and comp'd our drinks and dessert. Food was Delicious!
Reservations for 6:30pm, and not seated until 7:00pm. It was nice to have some Wine to sip and although we declined sliders! It is a noisy and hectic restaurant - we decided never again on a weekend! It is the Keg and I guess we do know what to expect!

Restaurant was overbooked so there was a bit of a delay in being seated, but we didn’t mind. Manager comped our appetizer to make up for the wait which was really nice.
Outstanding food and attention to customer satisfaction! Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and confident with the menu. Advising on certain dinner and wine choices that were excellent! Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Prime rib was cooked perfectly! Will definitely be back!
Lots of mall people over packed glad I made reservations or I would have been standing for 2 hrs like the rest of the people
Loved the modern decor! Food of course was great and the staff were upbeat and friendly.
Everything was great the steak was medium rare and was supposed to be medium but all was good

We were seated late although we had a reservation. The positive side is that once we were seated the manager came and acknowledged the late seating. That speaks volumes.
The service was as I would expect from the keg. Remarkable!!!!
The market Mall location is new so we thought we would try it. The noise level was loud for our liking but overall the meal was awesome.
Early Valentine date
Our 8 year old chose The Keg for his birthday dinner, and we had a great time! The staff had a little card prepared for him, and he enjoyed his med rare sirloin very much. Kyle was an attentive & prompt server - thank you!

We had the daily special - sirloin steak with shrimp & scallops and it was to die for. Always have a great experience at the Keg!
Wife’s bday and had family out. Didn’t order dessert but was brought out by waiter. We did eat it however were sad to see that the dessert was charged to our bill for something we did not ask for. Didn’t even think to look at the bill in the restaurant. The food was ok otherwise.
Our meal out was very enjoyable....from the greeting at the door to the birthday dessert supplied with the meal all was smooth and easy. Food ordering was efficient and timely with our waiter sufficiently attentive to checking with kitchen staff to ensure our items ordered were compliant to the dietary constraints of one of our party. We particularly enjoyed the service provided by our waiter which was sufficient, timely and non intrusive. He was also kind enough to snap some photos of our family gathering at our request. The ability to make a reservation at this Keg location also is appreciated as other locations previously did not which hindered us from considering to dine at the Keg. We certainly will return and can recommend others to come out and enjoy a fine meal in a pleasant room.
Food was great, service was very good. Restaurant was very loud, made for challenging conversation but overall excellent dining experience!
It was our anniversary and there was a card on the table from the Keg and we were given a free dessert. I would recommend the Keg for any special occasion. The food was outstanding as always, excellent service. This was my first time at Market Mall location but it was amazing.
The new Keg at Market Mall in Calgary is as good as it was at Stadium - excellent. The fact that it is a new restaurant must make it different for the staff, but we found it as excellent as always. The new restaurant is lovely, and the servers are as professional and accommodating as always. The food is top drawer, very consistently excellent. The only negative is that because they are so good, they are always fully booked. Twice I tried and was not able to make a reservation for the dinner hour on the same day, I had to book one week in advance. That's ok as long we you are able to plan a week in advance. We will be regulars.
Very busy. I had made a reservation so no problem getting in. However, I did feel the waiter rushed us. long waiting list to be seated so I can understand. I had the small steak and just perfect in size. I think this a new, great addition. Noise level very high but again we were a large group so at long rectangular table. One guest Celiac and manager? came to ensure all dietary restrictions observed.
We live close by so will return for sure.
The new Keg at Market Mall is great and VERY busy! Have been there on a week night and it is busy then, too! Great food and service Thank you!

Liam our server was awesome! He seemed to know the right amount of times to come to the table without being too much or too little. Food was awesome, which is something I just expect for the Keg. It's a beautiful new location. My only complaint would be that we felt our table size was a little awkward for our party size. We did fell a little squished in.
The food was good, but they did not have enough servers. Our server left us for long periods of time and it was impossible to get his attention. It took 30 minutes to get our bill.
We have been regular customers at Uxbridge Drive for many years. They have not missed a beat with the move to Market Mall.
My husband and I just celebrated our 59th. Wedding Anniversary on Jan.27th, and we were thrilled with the attention that we received. A special thank you to all the staff for making us feel so at home.
Took a long time to get our food in which our steak came out over done. By the time dessert came around, a bunch of items were sold out.
When we wanted to box our leftovers, the server just handed us boxes and asked us to do it ourselves as they were too busy.
Was expecting consistency as is the case with all other Keg's in the city but this one was far from it - quite a disappointment actually.
It is a nice spiffy new restaurant but as far as customer service goes, they need to put some more spit and polish on things. We arrived at 16h15 for a 16h30 reservation, were told that we could not be seated in the restaurant yet as they didn't have wait staff on duty , and were put at a booth in the bar for approximately 10 minutes. There our drink orders were taken and drinks delivered. A hostess helped us take them to our table in the restaurant when we were moved to it. The rub here is that my daughter ordered a kids meal which should have included her drink. However, although the restaurant included the bar tab on the same bill as the meal it was separated and thus we ended up paying separately for her drink that we should not have. Could I have fussed about it? Sure although the service wasn't bad by the end of the meal it was feeling very long and drawn out and it was just easier to pay it and leave. As far as the meal went, I didn't feel that the food was up the standards I've come to expect at other Kegs in town. As a for instance the iceberg wedge I ordered was fine but wasn't as fresh, have as much topping, or as nicely presented as those I've ordered in the past. I also ordered two appetizers instead of a full meal and the rest of the table ordered both and appetizer in the meal. In my case they simply elected to hold both appetizers and deliver them with the main meal which is not what I was expecting. So, yes, I could well have specified that I wanted one as the appetizer and one as the meal but the waitress could equally well have asked. Check-ins at the table from the staff were less frequent than we would have liked and it was necessary to ask for drink refills - they weren't either offered or better yet just delivered. Ambience wise the new restaurant was brighter than others I've been to which to my mind is nice but seemed louder and our table seemed to be in the middle of a corridor that was very busy with both customers and staff.
It was our Anniversary, we had great service and great food! We appreciated the special dessert on the house.
Overall it was nice. My son's steak was small and very overdone. The four for us had order the same steak.
The other three steaks were done as we had requested. My son's was not but he did not want me to mention it to our server.
Our server was nice but seemed very busy.
We enjoy the Keg and will be back.
The severs were very friendly and really nice. Felt like they really cared about me same as the hostesses. It was a very busy night and we were seated within ten minutes. Very impressive service.
Great food, service, and ambience
Our server Eric was excellent. Very attentive but not intrusive. My only complaint is that they have happy hour drinks in the bar but not the dining room
Our server didn’t rush us, the food was amazing and the overall experience was fantastic.
My husbands birthday tonight and we had a fabulous time. Cam our waiter was the best waiter we have ever had at the keg. Thanks!

Great new location. I found it quite loud and echoey.
Wednesday at 7pm and they were out of Prime Rib medium rare. So they brought us medium (which was closer to well done) . The 14 oz prime rib looked nothing like the one we had previously at the Crowfoot location. It was a much smaller cut.
The manager came to promise us each (3) a free dessert but ended up bringing one dessert and comping one appy.
Overall very disappointing for the price.
