We enjoyed our annual birthday celebration at The Keg in Mississauga. The food is excellent especially the blackened chicken breast, top sirloin and pistachio encrusted salmon. We always look forward to the complimentary Billy Miner birthday cake--delicious snd not to be missed. Great staff and service.

It was a great but busy night-our steaks were more rare than medium rare but that was rectified with no problem. We had a bus group next to us that quickly cleared out-for a Saturday night having young children running up and down all over but they were done and left. We were in for a quiet dinner and had a great table for 2 . Tony took good care of us. The quality and consistency is what I expect from the Keg and why I keep going. Tried the cauliflower mash it did not disappoint.

Well I took my girlfriend out for her birthday. It was one of the worst nights for service at the Keg. The server was not responsive at all. We had to ask another server to clean the table as dishes were left for quite some time after we had eaten each course. I had to ask for garlic butter for my lobster as it did not come. When the server came and I had asked for it, the reply it should have come out. Then eventually it showed up, but I had eaten my lobster without it as it took so long to eventually come. We had to ask for the Dessert menu, and this is her birthday. Another server provided us with the men. The entire meal our server never how any of our courses or food were. It was truly a bad server experience the whole evening. Then when time to pay the receipt was just left by server, with no comments, how was your meal or any type of conversation and then disappeared once again. 15-20 mins passed and we asked another server if they could grab the machine to pay. Another 10 mins or longer went by and finally our sever came by with machine. I paid and did tip, but truly believe the server should not have received any tip. I frequently visit the keg, but if I see this server again, I will be asking to move to another section as this was not acceptable for the value we pay for eating at the keg. A truly terrible experience for my girlfriends birthday and she was so upset she did mention to the host that this was a terrible birthday experience, where the reply was would you like to speak to a manager. We just left as it was very upsetting.

Food was very slow to come even for the bread took more than 20 mins to come our order was very simple 2 steaks and calamari we waited more than an hour for calmari and additional 40 mins for the steak. We came at 6:25 and we had reservation but we got our table at 6:45 not to mention we cam early at 6:05 but they told us to come back and still waited for our table. Not coming to this location anymore

Our waiter was very nice although he must of had too many tables as we weren’t checked on often enough and had to wait for him. It was a little ridiculous that there were children running through the restaurant as the keg is not the type of place I’d allow young kids to run amok. The food was fantastic! I’d recommend that the music not be so loud I could barley her my partner sitting across from me. Overall staff was friendly and food was fantastic just the atmosphere that lacked.
