Wonderful service, the ambience is great. The prime rib is a favorite of ours and never disappoints. It was very busy this particular night and the noise was a little too much. We both wear hearing aids and it is hard to talk when the noise level is too high. Other than that, a perfect evening.

Menu prices have really increased and portions are a little smaller. Food still tastes good and is always hot. Service is good. So many employees. Never the same person twice. We will return for our next anniversary.

We love The Keg although it’s a once a month treat now because of the prices. We realize all restaurant prices have risen. The food is always good and we love the free Bill Miner Pie we got for our Anniversary celebration!

Our server, Kristina, was so very attentive and very pleasant. The food was fantastic, which was the filet mignon, although next time we will go back to the Prime Rib, which is soooo yummy. Thank-you for the complimentary Miner Cake dessert in celebration of a birthday. We do enjoy The Keg very much and will be back in October to celebrate our Anniversary. Olive & Rick

We always enjoy dining at the Keg in Peterborough. The prime rib was excellent, as always, done to a perfect medium rare. The wedge salad and caesar salad were also very good. We were celebrating a birthday and the complimentary Billy miner pie was a nice touch. Samantha, our server, was awesome. She checked in on us on a regular basis and made this special occasion even more meaningful. Thank you Samantha.

Husband had the prime rib and loved it. I don’t eat steak so the options were quite limited for myself. I had the salmon dish and found the salmon was too moist for my preference. Everything was good; the service, our table, the reservation was ready even though we were a bit early. An overall good experience!

The Steak, Garlic mash and Billy Miners Pie are always excellent, the Frozen Margarita and Keg Caesar were exceptional 😋👍 The sides were not as mentioned on the Menu and my wife does not eat sweet peppers, did not want to complain. Overall our dinner and server Sarah were great. We will most definitely visit the Keg again and again.

Enjoyed a great wedding anniversary dinner last night at the Keg. The service was impeccable and the steak and lobster tails were cooked to perfection. They even gave us a free dessert for celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. The only part of the dinner we did not enjoy as much was the "Escargot Appetizer". We are not fans of the extra spices they add. We are purist in the sense we like just butter and garlic with our escargots.

My steak was a tiny bit chewey. I had the top sirloin rather than my usual New York strip. I guess the strip is just a better cut. The Keg is still my favourite resaurant.

We always enjoy our dinners at the Keg in Peterborough. We live close to Oshawa and always drive to Peterborough rather than Oshawa or Ajax. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is excellent and we enjoy the atmosphere.

We were seated immediately, it took a while for a staff member to come over to ask us what we would like to drink but it was understandable considering how busy it was being a long weekend. We didn't get a chance to have desert but we appreciated the free desert offer since it was our anniversary, we were absolutely stuffed from the amazing steaks we had!

Our food was delicious, and the Keg gave my partner a free dessert for his 60th birthday, however, our service was sub par compared to what we've had at the Keg in the past, which was disappointing. I arrived before my partner, and while trying to take my coat off and get seated, the server was lurking over me asking if I wanted a drink from the bar. I told her that I hadn't had a chance to look at the wine list yet, which obviously she could see because I wasn't even sitting. I had to ask for a few minutes first, which I should not have had to do. Our appetizers came promptly, which was great, but then the server was bringing our entrees before we were finished our appetizers. Seriously? They don't even do that in lower scale chain restaurants. We were seated at a small 2-person only table, so she was literally pulling our appetizer plates aways from us while we were still eating so that she could stick our dinner plates in front of us. It was unbelievable. I don't know if it was the kitchen's fault for the poor timing, or the server's poor communication to the kitchen, but either way, it ruined the relaxing, celebratory evening we wanted to have. While we were wanting to savour our appetizers before enjoying our entrees, we were forced to rush to eat the appetizers so that our steak dinner wouldn't get cold. Then, after we finished our meal, the server brought our bill. Normally the server leaves to give customers a few minutes to organize themselves to pay, but instead, she stood there lurking over us again. It was so awkward and I waited a few second assuming she was going to leave, but she didn't. I wanted to look over the bill, and discuss with my partner what the tip should be - in private! I almost asked her for a few minutes again, but then I just decided on the lowest possible tip without being disrespectful, and paid so we could leave. Not sure how this behaviour slipped past management, as I think they have a heavy training program for wait staff.
