Negative aspects: Inconsistent Portion Size: The portion sizes during my visit were inconsistent, which impacted the overall dining experience. Overcooked Prime Rib: I ordered the prime rib, but unfortunately, it was overcooked, affecting its flavor and tenderness. Burnt Double Baked Potato: The double baked potato I received was burnt, and it seemed like minimal effort was put into preparing it. Missing Pickled Vegetables or Celery Stick: While the Caesar drinks were enjoyable, I was surprised to find that they did not come with pickled vegetables or a celery stick, which is a common expectation for this type of drink. Salt Rim: The salt rim on the cup was inadequate, impacting the overall balance and flavor of the drink. Greasy Curly Fried Onions: The curly fried onions served were particularly greasy, which diminished their appeal and overall enjoyment. Missing Greeting Card: In contrast to a previous experience at another location, where a greeting card awaited us at the table, it was absent during our recent visit. When our server was questioned about it, he did not have a response.

I have been to the keg many times and unfortunately this visit was extremely disappointing. The calamari was over cooked and over battered it was extremely hard to chew. Then my prime rib was over cooked and also really hard to get through and on top of that my side was wrong. Service was fine and they did try to make things right but overall experience was definitely disappointing.

Food was subpar this visit. Mac and cheese was dry. Prime rib was clearly carved and was sitting under the heat lamps for a long time. Service was slow. Overall quite disappointing compared to other recent visits.

Haven't been to a Keg for years, so this was a treat due to a gift card. Very nice evening. Salmon was melt in your mouth tender, hubby's steak Bernaise was very good as well. Service was excellent...thank you, Lindsey! Pricier than I recall but the gift card made the difference.

Payment machine set the minimum gratuity of 18% and we felt pressured to give that when there was nothing special about the service. That's the reason why I would not recommend The Keg to a friend. I believe 15% is suitable for small groups.

I went to celebrate my birthday yesterday but The Keg was not as good as before. The bread was a bit sour and I felt greasy after finishing the main course. There were customers walking around with their children all the time. . . Sorry, this experience is very poor.

We went for my mum's birthday and everything was perfect. Our table ordered French onion soup, Lobster bisque, 7oz Filet Oscar and the Kansas City Strip loins. It was all delicious.

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Richmond South has been one of my favorite restaurants. Greg is a fantastic server who is professional and friendly simultaneously. The atmosphere is relaxing and you can always tell that there is good food and the atmosphere is lively as we always hear customers laughing, enjoying and celebrating. I always reccomend The Keg - Richmond to all my friends and colleagues if they are looking for a place to eat or celebrate 🍾.

Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The main course came very quickly before the appetizers were cleared which left little room on the table for all the plates. The kitchen server who delivered our main course briskly passed our plates across the table rather than French service ( by our side) her ponytail also brushed my wife in the face as she left. I rated our waiter as 5star but would give our server 3star.

The servers have always been pleasant and the food choices excellent. The striploin steak was tender and the lobster perfectly prepared. A great place for special occasions. The Billy Miner dessert was free for the birthday person!

I came here 2 weeks ago on 16, November. This is time the beef is so small compared before ordered the same size . The knife is not sharp , couldn’t cut the beef once. This is for my 2 friends’ birthday, I paid it , not good experience since I came here several times . Recently not recommended friends to have my bad experiences. Thanks

One of the order we had was sirloin and lobster. We asked for medium well and when it arrived, it was well done. So the server was very kind to replace the steak. Since we order medium well came well done so this time, we asked for medium rare. It came less than 10 minutes, but the steak was so rare. It was 1/8” cooked surrounding. The main issue was the first steak was bigger but thinner, medium well became well done. The 2nd was smaller but almost double the thickness, medium rare became rare. Since we had that replace already, we didn’t mentioned anything. We only ate the surrounding of that 2nd steak only. We did not truly enjoy the meal but everything else was good.

I was a little disappointed this time. My favorite appetizer Calamari was dry and chewy and my medium rare steak was tough. Maybe a not so good night in the kitchen ??? Service was excellent as always Restitution was made for the calamari. Thank you cool

It was just "okay". Both our appetizers and our mains were served luke warm, not hot, like they had sat for a while before being picked up. Broccoli was raw, not cooked at all. Didn't send back as we didn't have time to wait for new meals. I've had better meals at the Keg. Maybe this was just an off night.

Was looking forward to the Kansas City steak as shown on the website but no mention of any dinner specials or was it shown on the menu. Service was ok , I missed my cracked pepper on my steak and any refills .. coffee, bread as we were not asked until we had almost finished.By then it was getting busy and our server who was trying to be efficient brought the birthday cake without even asking about dessert. Then too top it off I went use my bank card and twice it was declined. I left all confused ,I went and used it 5 minutes later without an issue. That could have been an awkward moment for someone who didn’t have an alternative payment method.

I would personally like to thank Tim at the Richmond Keg. We had our special needs daughter come and have her 30th birthday and he went above and beyond giving us fantastic service. The quality of prime rib is not as good as before. There is too much tendon making the steak too chewy. However, the veggies and baked potato are very good to compensate for the quality of steak.
