The food was hot and excellent (mushrooms Neptune, salads, steaks, and twice baked potatoes), waiter was attentive and great, all in all one of my best experiences and we’ve been many , many times! Only thing I wouldn’t give 5/5 was my white sangria, usually is better. Love The Keg!

My husband and I went there to celebrate my birthday. We were looking forward to the Bleu Cheese Filet which we always have when we go. Our meal seemed to take longer than usual and when it arrived it was not cooked. I asked for medium and my husband medium rare. Both our steaks were raw. We had waited a very long time for raw steaks and we were starving and disappointed. The kitchen messed up and ruined our dinner. The manager came over and apologized and put our steaks back on the grill. We won’t be recommending that location or returning.

The whole experience from reserving online to the actual dining experience was excellent. The staff was very helpful from the time we walked in until we left. Everyone said hello. All the appetizers, drinks and main course was excellent. We can't wait to go to this Keg again!

The keg staff were very professional and courteous. Our server kevin knew the menu and was able to offer suggestions, was engagingly pleasant, read the table’s preferences and food came to the table hot and tasty. Recognized celebration we were attending to and responded accordingly. Billy Miner pie capped off the evening on a nice note.

This is the first time we ever had to wait for our food. After ordering the food it took about 1.2 hours to get the food. All the other tables around us experienced the same time wait. A few tables around us complained there food was cold. My dad had to send his steak back because the meat was to tough, however the new steak was good.

I’m sad to report that This was the worst experience we ever had at the Keg. We came to celebrate our anniversary and Mothers Day with our four children. We drove an hour from our home in Elm Creek as it was to be a special evening, We had a reservation for 5:30-7:30. Bread and drinks came and then our waitress disappeared for a minimum of 35 to 45 minutes. We even walked around the restaurant to find her and she was nowhere. Our entrees finally showed up at 6:55 pm but only after a manager inquired into our order. There was no apology or explanation but suddenly our food appeared. Our waitress didn’t bring it out but she suddenly reappeared. The steak and burger were over cooked and looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp. The pina coladas were supposed to be made with Malibu rum and were made with just normal rum. There was no acknowledgment by our server about our anniversary which is usually what we’ve experienced. The kids were thirsty and hungry and it was just a bizarre experience. I’d love to know what happened but I can seriously say she was missing from the restaurant.

Having dined at many Keg locations in Canada over the years, I have to give them credit, they offer up a consistent product. Specifically, a very good steak that is nicely seasoned, their twice baked potatoes are wonderful, as are their selection of appies and deserts. The waiter was excellent and the atmosphere good.

It was just ‘ok’. Didn’t get half of my order when it came out. Server seemed clueless. Steak was overly fatty, shrimp and scallops didn’t have much flavour. The only great thing was the Billy Miner pie.
