    Our server Mark was outstanding and took very good care of us. It was a bit longer of a wait from our salad to our main entrees but we were explained that there was a big party going on so we understood. Noise level was a bit loud but overall the food was excellent and our waiter Mark made up for everything.

    Your rate on the noise level is a bit misleading. It was very loud ,not what we would call energetic ,more of a distraction. We should have requested a booth away from the larger seating tables as they were there for a Christmas party , and that was very evident from their energetic volume.

    The Kansas city steak that is only seasonal was amazing . The veggies were crisp and the twice baked is a favourite!!

    Most people LOVE the keg, it’s always busy so I must be an odd one out. I never find it to be a fantastic experience. The calamari was very rubbery. It’s been rubbery in the past at other Keg locations so maybe thats just how they serve it but as a dish I order regularly at other places, it’s a miss for the keg. If having a steak or prime rib I’d prefer rae and jerrys for the money, so we rarely order steak at the keg. The salmon was GOOD, nothing wrong with it at all. Just nothing particularly special about it either. A salmon I could make at home quite easily. The burger was a surprising highlight, would give 5/5. When we arrived, they forgot we were seated so we sat unattended for a while. When they noticed our server came up and was super friendly and helpful all evening. We didn’t ask for it but the make up fpr the slow start he ended up taking our drinks off the bill and serving us a sloce of really nice ice cream cake. Service is would say was A+. Take my review with a grain of salt. I’m just not a big keg guy to begin with. Many other places I’d rather go for a nice evening out.

    Waited over 30 minutes despite having a reservation. Told the table was just clearing when we arrived, so obviously not. Almost left. Never offered anything while waiting. Lobster was cold. Steak was room temperature at most. Other tables so close the servers were bumping us while taking those orders. Was beyond loud. Our server did his best so gave him a good tip. But overall experience was pretty terrible. They clearly chose to allow more people in and chose quantity over quality so the reservation was meaningless, food was mediocre at best, atmosphere was uncomfortable and way, way too loud. Won’t ever be going back to the Keg.

    Justin was an amazing server! We went in to celebrate my mom’s birthday and he took great care of everyone! Would definitely ask for him to take care of us again. Food was great and drinks were delicious.

    Great food and service. Just so expensive! Have to restrict dinners at The Keg to very special occasions only. $350 for a family of 4 is hard to justify otherwise.

    The food was so delicious, we started with the stuffed mushrooms. We were using our bread to scrap the last little bit out it was so good. The steaks were made to both of our liking. Literally the best steak I ever had and my hubby is a great cook. The broccoli and red beets were a delicious combination. We ordered dessert to go because we were full. The triple chocolate cake was delicious and very moist. We highly recommend The Keg to anyone wanting a nice enjoyable dinner.

    Keg is usually good. My steak was inconsistently cooked. Medium to almost rare. Service was great. But at those prices I want the medium steak I ordered.

    Keg used to be a staple for top notch dinning experience. Not so much anymore. At least at this location. Dinner was rushed. Appetizers weren’t done and our dinners were being served. Steaks were “okay” nothing special. For the cost of dinner I would prefer a more upscale place or a independent restaurant with an actual chef on staff

    -Seated 15 min late -6 person table by the kitchen for a party of 4(2 adults and 2 kids) -Salads arrived before appetizers -Appetizer forks were not provided with scallops (I really like those little forks) -Dinner was great -Ordered a 7oz filet, received and was charged a 10oz -Bday dessert for a 14 year old was odd (lemon tart) and only had one spoon. Hard to complain when it was free -Ordered a bottle of wine and had to ask for it to be corked after bill was paid A bit nitpicky but these are what separates good from great.

    It feels a bit crowded with customers and staff trying to get around each other especially when entering and having to walk past the kitchen. Meals seem a bit basic for the price.

    Portions were quite small for a $41 meal. Was never asked if I wanted another drink. We were there with 12 people for a birthday dinner and a small dessert for the birthday boy was brought out to us as we were leaving

    We had a great time! Nathan was fun, polite and an excellent waiter! Jason recognized us and joined us for a moment to say hello. It is nice to be recognized and acknowledged. Our dinners were prepared to perfection as always! We love this Keg!

    Great dinner and service at the Keg on Portage. Everything was pretty much dead on. Had a nice quiet corner and was surprised to see the place was pretty much full when we left. We will be back.

    The service was great, our server did an awesome job. The food was delicious. We will come back for sure. We were here for my husband's birthday and they gave us a free dessert ♥ Also liked that there's plenty of parking.
