The King and Queen is a beautiful quintessentially, English country Inn, located in the small village of East Malling, Kent. Located just 5 minutes drive from the M20 the K&Q offers everything you would expect of a 15th century coaching Inn. Serving traditional English food, from 12:00- 21:00 Weds-Sat and 12-19:30 on Sunday, we offer everything from pub lunch and classics to our full a la carte menu. Saturdays we are serving Brunch from 11:00-13:00 and Sundays we serve our famous English roast dinner 12:00-19:30. In addition to the beautiful interior areas there is a large well maintained garden for you to sit out in during the summer months. If you are looking for accommodation the K&Q has 3 double letting rooms, one of which is equipped for disable guests. Each room has private parking and a complimentary, in-room, continental breakfast is provided for you. All tables in the restaurant and accommodation are available to book via our website www.kingandqueeneastmalling.co.uk

Our menu's are heavily influenced by English and European cuisine and our ever changing a la carte menu offers something for everyone. At lunchtime we offer light bites and Our head chef has a passion for Indian cooking and every Thursday we have Curry Night where 3 beautiful examples of the delicate dishes of Northern and Southern India are on offer. Sharing deals are available. If Brunch is your thing then we're pleased to offer this every Saturday 11am-1pm. Sunday's are our favourite day and our traditional roasts are not to be missed.

Lunch with friends midweek. Although we had reserved a table we were offered the option of sitting inside or in the garden where full table service was available. We sat in the garden which was very pleasant and the service was first class. Food was freshly cooked and served promptly. We would not hesitate to visit again.

I booked the table for my partner and myself, always good there for a wonderful Sunday lunch, lovely staff, good service, plenty on our plate, we never have extras as its too much for us. But like to say the stuffing balls and the cauliflower cheese always tempting. Sometimes we share a dessert, but usually im full up.

Disappointed at the very small menu, especially as it was a Friday evening. Looked like we were given the lunchtime menu as choice included a choice of different ploughmans! Large table next to us were very loud and were using some very choice words, loudly, in their conversations. Nothing was said to them & in a small bar you couldn’t help but hear their bad language. Sadly the place is not like it used to be.

Visited on a Friday night and very disappointed with the very limited menu and quality. Used to be a good place to meet or take friends but the pandemic seems to have left its mark. A choice of only two real ales is not the best welcome either. I'm afraid its off our list now, shame as for many years it has been worth a visit.

Not been here for a while, but will come again as overall it was okay. Once we placed our order the meals arrived very quickly. They were piping hot and as fresh as could be. Quality of food was good though what we order was not over fancy. Would recommend to others to try.

We booked a table for lunch for 6. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and were soon taken to our table. The menu was extensive and we had difficulty choosing. The service was great and we couldn't fault it. We have visited before and we will definitely go back and will highly recommend to our friends and family.

My partner and myself had a wonderful Sunday lunch, Roast Lamb with Yorkshire pudding, swede and carrot mash, brocoli, roast potatoes, gravy. I had the Vegetarian Nut Roast with all of thr above. Dessert we shared a Lemon cake with custard, delicious, all food served quickly, with drinks and the wonderful staff very polite and lovely smiles, very reasonable priced. We would definitely go again, well recommended for anyone wanting good quality food.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here before going onto another event. Always get wonderful service here quick with limited waiting time. Quality food nicely presented etc. Nice environment, seating was on the elevated level which was great. Staff friendy and attentive at all times. Will go again.
