   My husband and I went there for dinner on May 21, 2023. We had Christelle as our server. She was exceptional. She knew the menus very well and was able to make suggestions. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese. It was delicious. My husband had the butter chicken. We also had the trout on the side. Service was great and food was great. I would definitely go there again.

   We have eaten here many times before, and have always had a good experience. Unfortunately this time it was a disappointment. The service was fine but some of the food/wine was not. The Sauvignon Blanc wine was either not, or did not look or taste like one. Our server said that others have made similar comments. The Edamame was under cooked. The Ancient Grains Bowl was rancid. We mentioned it, and it was slightly acknowledged, but that was it. We did not ask for and did not receive any compensation. Hopefully our comments are looked in to.

   One of the best experiences me and my family have ever had from a service standpoint. Attentive, friendly and so courteous. We left our son's water bottle there accidentally, and once we realized we turned back around on the boardwalk, and they had it waiting for us, cleaned and dried. Fantastic people, and the food was well above average too!

    We had a wonderful dinner at The Lake Club with friends! Food was delicious, cocktails were lovely, service was fantastic! Mennie was fun, fast, and made our night!! Everyone was really great. We will be definitely be back!

    We attended Fri. May 5th. @ 1:30 pm. There were 4 in attendance. It was suggested by the Server/Waitress that we start w. the Seafood/Fish Taco which was served on a pyramid w a variety of seafood (we are 90% sure nothing more that frozen fish sticks for $54.00 My spouse had the chicken fingers & fries, the chicken was extremely dry! Our guest had the smashed burger w a side of rice, there was absolutely nothing done w the rice, a person that has never prepared rice before could have done better! The beverages were fine. The music was actually annoying! for $200 (2 days pay), we were served fish sticks, 2 burgers w plain boiled rice! Would you enjoy this experience w. out of town guests? The venue itself was lovely, however, the food quality lacked in class, but not expense. We would not dine there again! The lovely view does not compensate for the dry chicken, frozen fries & fish sticks.

    My steak I ordered should have been medium but was more well done than anything. For $54 which was listed on the menu at $49, the Keg serves a much better steak. The side of mushrooms and asperagus was excellent along with the fries with a nice diping sauce and a horseradish sauce also. We were celebrating an anniversary and were surprised with four glasses of prosecco for our table and a rose for my wife. The other three meals were great and enjoyable. I don't understand their reservation system through Open Table as I tried to book 6:30 but could not even get 7 and settled for 6. Our table was the only one occupied in the whole place until approximately 8 pm. The place probably seats close to 75. What gives?

    The most delicious satisfying food we have had in a while. The customer service was top notch from the first minute we walked in. Gorgeous view and the setting was perfect! So worth every penny. We will be returning very soon. Thank you so much you all went over and above to see we were comfortable and very satisfied. 10/10.

    We went to see the musician, Thomas Kovacs, as they’ve temporarily opened to the public (usually members only). Food was delicious! Service was friendly and it felt high end. There was an error on the bill I didn’t catch until after paying — customers should be aware that they cannot do immediate refunds, and you essentially pay twice for the meal while awaiting the finance department at Friday Harbour to issue the refund for the bill with the error (this can take several days they said). This has put me off returning, and if I do, I will of course be more careful with the bill.

    We really enjoyed the whole dining experience. It all happened by accident as we had booked at the Beach Club’s reservation page and never read the confirmation to realize our reservation was routed to Lake Club instead. We especially love that there was live entertainment. The setting/ambiance was stunning. Food options on menu are considerate. Would definitely come back before non homeowners are restricted. I hope that changes so can attend year round.

    The pros: cold and tasty drinks, delicious calamari, beautifully presented ancient grains bowl, elegant setting. Cons: the service (on multiple levels multiple times), the very burnt & dry smash burger, the overall value of the dining experience. It did not meet expectations. Would consider dining here again if and when they iron out these issues, and improve overall communication and service for their customers. Otherwise the restaurant really is beautiful and has a lot of potential.

    We went for dinner to try out the new Lakelicious menu. The beet salad was yummy. The pasta while yummy was too small of a portion. The dessert was delicious - like others have said - the rum was very strong - but a side of ice cream would’ve helped. As always, the service and ambience was perfect! Thank you for offering this to the owners. We hope you do a winter Lakelicious too!!!
