The steak was very undersized. Looked like 6 ounces instead of 10. The meat was not of a high quality, 1 cm thick, and it came cut in half. It was also overcooked as I asked for medium rare. The other orders, sea bass, fish and chip, and regatoni, were quite good. Spacious, modern design and a great view out provided great ambience.

The food is excellent, though some parts could use improvement such as making a fresh garlic naan instead of reheated, though it was still tasty. But the food otherwise is on par with higher end restaurants. The service was excellent and the ambience makes this place a great dining experience.

A beautiful atmosphere, inside and out with stunning views of the marina. The service was outstanding and the food equally amazing! Our server made us feel like we were super important…saying things like “it’s your day…take your time…she took many photos for us and made sure we were all happy with everything we had ordered. I will definitely be going back! Thanks for making our day so special!!!!

The only complain I have is that we were told we were technically NOT eligible to eat here as we were “non-members”, which they said at the reception upon arrival, we were then AGAIN told by the hostess that we weren’t technically non members and shouldn’t be allowed to eat here. I made reservations through the website with open table and no where did it block me from reserving or ask me whether I was a member or non member.

6 of us went on a Monday night, gorgeous restaurant and patio, but service was very disorganized and slow, food was fine, nothing to remember. Staff was very friendly, but they need better management.

Place is lovely with beautiful scenery of course however the fish I ordered (cod) was very dry and flavourless and cappuccino was lukewarm; service a bit slow. I would go back for ambiance/location and would maybe try another dish but overall not super duper impressed

Our server was outstanding and went above and beyond the entire service that we had her. The poor rating is a reflection of the amount of time we waited at our table in the beginning to even get greated. Other than that The Lake Club was 10/10!

If you're looking for a upscale marine type ambiance, this is the place. With views or the marina and entire boardwalk area this is bound to be the setting to be able to see it all while enjoying an upscale dining experience.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Lake Club today. I ordered the Cobb salad, which was recommended by our server. The presentation was impeccable, the service was outstanding (friendly and attentive), and the food was completely delicious. I look forward to visiting Friday Harbour again soon!

I will try it again it was a Monday I get it. Server was fun and chatty, but the reset of the experience left my guests unimpressed. Summary is very, very, slow service from the bar for drinks we finished eating before a second round finally came. Everyone ordered the steak med rare, all well done some did bother to try to finish it.

My husband and I went there for dinner on May 21, 2023. We had Christelle as our server. She was exceptional. She knew the menus very well and was able to make suggestions. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese. It was delicious. My husband had the butter chicken. We also had the trout on the side. Service was great and food was great. I would definitely go there again.

We have eaten here many times before, and have always had a good experience. Unfortunately this time it was a disappointment. The service was fine but some of the food/wine was not. The Sauvignon Blanc wine was either not, or did not look or taste like one. Our server said that others have made similar comments. The Edamame was under cooked. The Ancient Grains Bowl was rancid. We mentioned it, and it was slightly acknowledged, but that was it. We did not ask for and did not receive any compensation. Hopefully our comments are looked in to.
