The menu is small, but the food was great. Drinks were good and they were working on adding a new holiday cocktail menu. The servers were fun and the entertainment was excellent! We can't wait to go back!

I would totally recommend this restaurant beautiful setting nice wine list and nice beer list. And very good food and the staff are truly amazing at what they do. If your in Belleville it’s. Must stop before going to prince Edward county to visit.

We were a party of 6 out for a Girls night. Our server was AMAZING! She was bubbly, engaging, knew her stuff. She was fantastic. The food was good, and came out of the kitchen quickly. We had a good sampling of the menu items, and were pleased with everything. The cocktail menu was good, although some of them could have used a bit more of oomph as far as the flavours listed. That being said, it's always better to underspice because everyone has a different palate and it's easier to add then take away. We would definitely recommend. We sat inside but the outside looks beautiful and would be lovely on warmer days.

The setting and decor are wonderful. I can hardly wait to have a patio meal next summer. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The menu is somewhat limited but I had the Smashburger, which was excellent.

It's a great little spot, stylish yet not snobby. We sat outside on the beautiful patio overlooking the water. The Ramen was beautifully presented but the broth was more of an overpowering ginger flavour vs. pork flavour (but it is a new menu item so maybe not quite perfected yet) The egg and pork and noodles were great! The burger was terrific and the new fall cocktails all sound yummy. I had the cherry one and it was delish. Servers were all friendly and helpful :)

We enjoyed the view of the river on the patio. Tables were well spaced to give privacy. The brie cheese app was delicious and the pickerel main was done to perfection with interesting sides. The service was excellent. We will return.

We have been here before and had a great experience. Sad to say the last time we experienced poor service for the entire evening. Our appetizers came out 5 minutes before our entrees. One our side plates did not show up until repeated requests. We had to wait 30 minutes for our dessert to show up. We had to wait another 25 minutes to get our bill. Completely unacceptable. There are so many other places where we can spend our time and money. It will be quite awhile before we return.

Waited 30 minutes after being seated for a server who came only because I brought it to their attention that we were still waiting. Lobster roll tasted like canned lobster with a little mayo and lettuce. Beef in soup was grizzly. Caesar salad had too little dressing and chicken was stringy. Club sandwich had bacon not cooked and was chewy and bread was very dry. The noodle bowl was good. The salsa and chips they added for free due to the being ignored issue were good. Place was beautiful but the service and food are sorely lacking.

Great food and service! We tried to go again the next day but they close earlier on Sundays. Had a great dinner with the family on the patio (lobster roll, burger and the giant poutine ) and our dog was served as well. So thoughtful. Hope to be back again.

We booked at the Local so we could check out the live music they had on the patio (a few weeks back) and were not disappointed. The patio overlooking the river is second to none. The service was friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely fantastic - original ideas, all tasty (and appealing to the eye too). We will definitely be back. If you are looking for somewhere to go in Belleville, you should not hesitate to book the Local!

We chose the Local for a family get together to celebrate some important milestones. The large patio has great views and was the perfect atmosphere. The shrimp and mussel dish was one of the best mussel dishes I’ve have ever had! Good, service and ambiance were all top notch. We will be back soon!

I had a "birthday brunch" with some friends here & was very pleased with our overall experience, the food was great (especially the Crème Brûlée), & the atmosphere was nice and calm. I'd definitely eat here again, the menu has a few things I'd like to try!

All the staff were very friendly and quick to ensure all our needs were met. The music was our genre and views are spectacular along the Moira River at night. Food/drinks were very good. Definitely a great addition to Belleville's entertainment scene.

Two sets of life long friends so enjoyed our lunch at The Local Social House. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and being able to sit by the Mighty Moira made it all that more memorable! Kudos to the staff and management for creating such a wonderful place to bring friends !

I had made an reservation tor two but somehow they put my guest in another table and I didn’t realize until 1/2 hr later as i just thought they were running late.. regarding the food..:extremely salty. My guest had to return her brisket poutine due to saltiness. They did replace and were apologetic, however it was still very salty. The fries on my meal were also extremely salty. Chef needs to lay off the salt!! Service was good but food on the lunch menu was not outstanding for the price. Not sure if I would recommend based on the salty dishes as this points to either an inexperienced Chef or perhaps a kitchen staff that is salting up too much.
