Table was in the middle of the floor surrounded by loud partying tables. Service was slow due to the number of people in surrounding tables. View was good but could have been great. We had a table for six so one of our party had to sit on an end. Party of six came in after us and was seated at a window table for eight so they had two empty chairs. Wouldn't it have been better to seat us at the table for eight and the party of six at our table with no one having to sit on the end in the aisle. Food was ok but most of the time we had to wait for someone to come back to the carving station to get served.

Went to try their brunch with a guest chef. The food is outstanding, and the ingredients were fresh. The buffet had a nice variety of dishes for every palate. Perhaps it was just today, but a table of obnoxious people was making a lot of noise. At the end they were gathered by the entrance, using a lot of foul language and profanity. Not asking for puritans, but their behavior was not appropriate for a 4 star hotel, and no one from the staff intervened. If you are staying at the hotel you will enjoy the quality of the breakfast. We will try it once again since the food is delicious and well presented. Hopefully the experience will be better.

The view is beautiful. Servers were very friendly and sharp. I went for brunch with my wife and my plate was excellent. The plate she ordered could have used a little more seasoning. Otherwise not bad at all.

The food was "ok". Was not able to taste the salad as the lettuce was stale/old. Told the staff about it and the response was "let me check with the guys". Nothing happened, nothing was changed. The rest of the food was average but not bad. Took 20 minutes to get a coffee at the empty bar. Staff was nice. The valet parking is $10, not bad (good value). The food itself is too expensive for what is offered. Also, they bring you the check as a total, not detailed. We had to ask for the detailed check and the tip was already included in the check. So we would have double tipped if we didn't ask for the detailed check. I do not plan to return but you can try it out and possibly have better luck.

We chose this restaurant for a Sunday brunch (coincided with 5 de Mayo) while visiting PR. There was a set buffet/price with no option to order from the regular menu, with promised live music, international chefs, etc. While the views overlooking the ocean and hotel were beautiful, it certainly was not worth $50 + tax (close to $67 per person). The ambiance was not very lively, there were probably 4-5 occupied tables including ours. Looking back, there really was really no need to even make a reservation. The DJ stopped playing and started packing up his equipment around 2:45 while the brunch was set to go on until 4:00. The food was nothing particularly out of the ordinary; the only alcoholic drink included in the buffet was a tequila sangria - we each had 4-5 of them and honestly it felt as if the alcohol was watered down. They used to go under the name Delicias (which had great reviews); realizing now that the Loft does not, I would not recommend it as it is overpriced.

The breakfast part of the buffet was good, the hot part of the buffet was lacking a rice, red meat and other options. We have been to others buffet in the same location and they had plenty of options for all tastes. They even charged me for “cortadito” small coffee. The waitress did not inform me it was not included in the buffet price. They were playing regueton music which was not the best option, especially when we were surrounded by elderly patrons. We enjoy the hotel and the restaurant, unfortunately not this event.

New Years Eve buffet- cost was higher than expected, service was poor, and layout was somewhat confusing as a private party was also seated where food was located. Food was ok- nothing super special. The roasted pig was good. Wines were overly sweet.

I was so disappointed with our visit to Delicias. I had booked a reservation for Christmas Day brunch with my family for a special meal. The worst! No Christmas spirit, the staff were zombies, there was nothing special for the holiday. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant when we got their. The buffet promised was minimal, no omelet bar, the poor pig/goat roast that was out on the patio tasted like jerky. Picked up a dirty, greasy plate going through the buffet. Tried to get a Christmas cookie from a jar but there were not tongs available (the only Christmas themed item, my daughter questioned if they were only for decoration). I found out later that drinks (non-alcoholic) weren't included in the price of the buffet. Tried talking to the waiter which was pointless, then asked to speak to the manager. By this time there was a family with kids visiting in the back of the restaurant, didn't see them eating, a young lady approaches me from this group telling me she was the manager. I discussed the lack of notice that beverages were not included with the buffet, dirty plates and the lack of tongs. Receiving a blank stare, I finally got a reply. She did apologize and took off a $3.00 iced tea that hadn't been touched only after I asked her to. Her attitude was condescending and it seamed to me that we were interrupting her holiday by taking her away from her group. I spent over $230.00 for three meals, I should have donated it to the Hurricane relief fund because it was a total waste of money. I do not recommend eating at Delicias ever.

Thanksgiving meal was poor at best. None of the traditional side ie fresh made cranberry sauce, classic stuffing, poor quality of deserts. Never again, will prepare Thanksgiving at home.

I love Delicias Brunch. We come very often on Holidays and it never disappoints. The charcuterie and cold selection is very good. A wide range of cheeses, salads and vegetables. Pastries and bread were delicious! They had paella with plenty of seafood, sancocho (Spanish soup), baguette French toasts with papaya, frittata with sundries tomatoes and goat cheese, an omelette and a meat carving station that was enough to get your fill. Desserts were not that great but the food was so good I was too full for it anyways. Service was a bit slow but very attentive. The place was nice and quiet until a big table with screaming children arrived. Otherwise, very dignified.

Our experience may be isolated but it was our one and only visit. We requested no onions in salad due to an allergy. Onions came in salad. Too finely chopped to initially identify due to dim lighting until it was too late so my husband physically paid for that mistake. Rotisserie chicken meal was extremely dry and not very tasty. Minimal gluten free options for one of us. My swordfish was good and I enjoyed it. So one of 3 of us was happy with the meal. Staff was attentive but server seemed very new. She may have done better shadowing a seasoned server. So not sure I would recommend but I wouldn't dissuade anyone either.

We had a 6:30 reservation . There was no hostess , our waitress was doing double duty that we didn't realize when she sat us. We waited much too long for our wine . Then when we put in our order an appetizer an entry an after 20 mins and seeing others getting their food we asked about ours. She said their was fire in kitchen , really . She did comp us each us a glass a wine . I think honestly our order was never put in . We said cancel our appetizer we would like just our entry, which consisted of tenderloin and pollo Orzo . By now there is a hostess. We finally had food about 50 mins after arriving , we were about giving up when the hostess brought. I'm not sure I would blame the waitress on forgetting to putting our orders in but the restaurant having it understaffed . Who doesn't have a hostess to seat people. A poor one . I would not recommend or return to this restaurant too many good ones in San Juan to return too.

The ambiance was great but it wasn't a great visit. Our service was terrible. Empty martini glasses sat on the table for the whole visit, it would take 10-15 minutes of having an empty glass to be offered another. Our server would just disappear for 15 minutes at a time. Also, my entree was not great. I got the pork and honestly it had no flavor and the portion size was so small I was still hungry which is annoying when everyone else in my party had portions so large they couldn't finish theirs (which eas great for me). Something else annoying to note is that the menu prices were more expensive by several dollars than the menu they have listed on open table (we may have still came, as we were looking for a nicer dinner BUT we would have preferred to spend a bit more and go to oceano or perla after the food and service we received). We definitely regretted this one.

It was also the only place in the worst service we received at this hotel...definitely not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel
